Glad to hear you have the electric figured out on the 122 :beerchug: ACecil Always great to see pictures of you and the 100  I am still not used to seeing it with the sleeve hitch adapter and the wheel weights:biggrin2.gif: |
Toyman Now That's a tiller! Looks like it did a great job for ya.
Nickvanorman Glad the 122 is running good for ya. Allen always nice to see the 100 doing it's job. When the duals going back on? They should clear the wheel weights, unless I'm rembering wrong. |
Thanks guys! :High5:
Diz: I still have to get used to it also...lol. Duke: The duals will be back on soon. We're going to put the wheel weights on the outside wheel. :beerchug: |

Tell us. Go ahead own up to it. Just how many deer have you taken at that point in the background? Nik, Sorry about that, but Fishin' & Huntin' just sorta overtakes my mindset. :Sorry: |
Because of my cub
Because of my cub my son and I was able to prep the former veg garden to a flower cutting garden. We planted close to 700 bulbs yesterday. This morning when my son woke up the first thing he said was "I didn't get to play one game yesterday but I had fun working in the garden with you daddy" I won't be forgetting yesterday or this morning anytime soon! Thanks to my cub I had another special day with my son.
Next weekend going to mulch. |
Yesterday my son and I pulled the aerator around for a few hours and got the lawn over seeded.
It's still pretty warm here in southeastern VA so to the seeding should take OK. I normally do my overseeding Labor Day weekend but it was so dry this year. Take Care! Chris |
Nik: We see several deer in the field, especially in the Fall. :beerchug:
Great pics, Duke! Glad you and your son, had a nice day together. |
Good work Allen!:Woo: Saturday was such a nice day to have the cubbys out! Great IH 100 and yard sweeper set-up! Nice cubs everyone!:beerchug::Salute::IH Logo:

Thanks John, I appreciate it!

Mounted the 450 blower on the 1862 yesterday. Still need a few 1/2" bolts to finish along with a couple shear bolts. I'm sure we'll have a very mild winter now:biggrin2.gif:

Bring on the snow!
All right Toyman! Nice set-up, that cyclops is a cool tractor, cant wait to see it in action!:Salute:I like the winters here, lots of cub time and a few dollars more!
|
Great looking 1862 and snow blower, toyman!
|
Looking good, still a few more weeks till I put the blade on, hoping to get plenty of seat time this winter.
On another note, jumped the 147 today, ran it around the yard for 15-20 minutes and battery stayed dead as a doornail, hoping it just a bad battery and not something else. |
Got the last piece of the 3-point on the 102 and setup my plow for some plowing in a week and a half. Think this is the first time I'm not working on a tractor the night before a plow day haha.

Very Nice 102!!

Great looking tractor kwduffy:beerchug:
Duke, I'm a single guy, no kids,(well 2 dogs:biggrin2.gif:), but that is some good stuff there with your son:buttrock:. Well, I finally got around to building the poormans paint booth today! I'm using a box fan in the window to draw out fumes, and I've done this years ago and have no worries as to igniting the fumes cause the fan has an induction motor and my test run today showed that the fan pulls the fumes out very quickly. The booth has a very good seal on it, I used one piece of plastic to cover it, the extra overhang(on floor) I rolled up most of the way and poured a bunch of sand then rolled the rest of the way and duck taped. I'm happy with the turnout:biggrin2.gif: Also got to taking the extensions off my 1a tiller and , having a hard time getting the tine extensions off, hammered it in a little to break it free and heated it up too, still can't get em out:angry:. Will go at it after dinner:beerchug: |
Finaly got time to do the final big mulching/sweeping of the leaves for the year today. Been busier than snot the last few weeks so it was nice to get some good seat time finally! I had the camera in my stupid pocket the whole time and was too into the work to remember to take pics! :bash2:
Going to take the deck off tonight and mod the left side rear gauge wheel so I can run my 26x12x12's with the deck on. Then hoping to get time to make new rear hangers so I can level it , and get some shooting lanes mowed back home for deer season. |
Great looking tractor and plow, Kevin! :beerchug:
The paint booth looks awesome, Jude! You've been busy, Jay! :High5: |
I made a grill for my 126. I've almost got the headlight panel made too. Both were missing when I got the tractor.

Nice work Adam!!

Sweet looking grill and I'm sure the headlight panel will be just as nice:beerchug:
I got to working on the tiller and finally got the left extension off:biggrin2.gif:. Still can't get the right side to move, will give it another shot in a day or 2 after letting it soak in PB. Also had a grease fitting stuck in front wheel of Original that I'm getting ready to send to sandblaster. There was no shoulder of the nipple to grab onto and it was seated in there so tight I couldn't get the vise grips to back it out, so I welded a bolt to it and then cranked it out no problem!! Did some more priming and paint and the blower today too:beerchug: |
IHinIN
Nice job on the Grill. Can't wait to see the headlight panel  Sminkey Glad you got the grease fitting out. They can be a pain sometimes. Hope you get the tiller the rest of the way apart :beerchug: |
Great work on the grille, Adam! :beerchug:
|
Adam- Nice work so far! Keep an eye out for an IH emblem for it now! Sminkey- Those Original rims must be awesome, because my rims dont have greese zerks for some reason. I always keep them greased by jacking up the tractor, removing the wheel and using wheelbearing grease.
|
I wonder?
Quote:
|
Jude, you are correct. All the Originals had grease fittings in the front wheels.
|
Thanks Allen!
Haven't been out to the shop yet to see, now I don't have too! Although I do here the cubs calling me to work on them:biggrin2.gif:

well, pulled apart the motor sorta on the 122. had to replace a busted head gasket. got the head taken off with careful order of the bolts and washers for each hole. got the new gasket on after cleaning the carbon and crap off of the motor and the head. got it all bolted back together. glad i had checked the dip stick before i started it. the oil wasnt even touching the dip stick! haha so i drained what was left of the oil (the rest came out the hole in the head gasket all over the grill) and it was about a 1/4 of a quart. so i got some new oil in it, started it up and she purrs like a kitten yet growls like a lion with the stack on it. think i might go back to a muffler. we shall see. anyway, good day. next item on the list is a busted valve stem on the speedex and a new project tractor! :biggrin2.gif::biggrin2.gif:

Well I picked up the 3 tractors I purchased over a month ago. Pictures to come later this weekend

Well I finished up converting a Mag 18 motor today to put in my 682. From what I was told, it was originally in a cub, got pulled and sold to a guy who put it in a Simplicity. Then the guy who sold the motor ended up buying the whole Simplicity back off the guy. then he sold me the motor, but he didn't have time to pull it from the tractor, so he gave me the whole tractor. Well today I finally finished getting the motor ready to go back into a cub. Anyone want to buy a Simplicity Sunstar roller?
