Yesterday i mowed the front yard with the 128. Boy it runs so smooth and has ALOT of power the high grass had no chance!:biggrin2: Than i cut my neighbor's vinyard with the 1812. It was nice to get som seat time!:beer2:

Had a good Cub day today. I started by cleaning up the Cub Cave and getting things back in order. I got the CI grille for my nephew's 73 wire brushed and primered. I also got the old tires and tubes off of the front rims and wire brushed them and got them into some primer. Gave Big Red a hose down with the air hose then cleaned and waxed her up a bit. I did notice a bit of oil surrounding the left rear ISO mount. It seemed to be coming from the dipstick area. This might be why that old mount was degraded so bad. I may have to order a new dipstick so that it seals better unless someone has a good BTDT remedy.

Changed the hydro filter on the 3235, topped off the fluid, warmed everything up to check operation. ALL GOOD!!

Good to hear! Keep'em running! Did you by chance have a problem pushing the valvestem through the rimhole? I was trying to do just that so I can get my new tri-rib's on, when the valvestem looks too swollen to make it past the rimhole. Was trying to save the tire and tube for the # 2 IH cart, but I maybe out of luck. I'll have to resort to destroying the tube I guess and not save myself 10 bucks. thanks, John:bigthink:

I didn't put anything back on the rims, but I did have to use a hammer to knock one of the tube valve stems down and out so I could get the tube off. You may need to get one of those valve stem pullers from a local car parts store and pull it up a bit to get it thru enough. Just a thought.

Good cub day

Had a bad bearing on the mule drive of the 123. Took it off and wandered around our local farm supply store and found the bearings and bought two (US made, no less). Bolted right in and ran nice and quiet. Greased the front hubs and the deck bearings and it should be good to go.

Also got the governor working on the "O" and scooted around the yard on it some.

It was a good cub day!
John

Thanks DX3! Just a little clean up for the show and call it good. Painted the grill and footrests. Scrubed the screen, footrests still drying.
