Well today i finally got the duals for the 108 and love the row crop look this tractor is shaping up to be! So i didnt just stop there and after looking long and thinking hard on it i decided i needed a grille, as the original one is starting to melt pretty badly. After scavenging through my scrap piles i found an old bbq grill and stole the grate out of it, cut it down, sanded, painted it and installed my favorite IH emblem. The difference is outstanding! The looks are much better improved i think, and now more air can flow through without melting the grill in the process. Overall i think its turning out great! Also i had new front tires put on the 1650 i just recently aquired from fellow member Logan. :beerchug:

Camp work bee!

Every year for the past 15 years my family has gone to a christian family camp on a lake about 4 hours from here. The camp is about 80 some years old, and is really as away from it all as you can get. Its beautiful, and many lives have been changed there. for the past couple years since i got my cubs, I always took one with me and graded the half mile long entrance rode as erosion made it almost impassable to some of the small cars. every summer the camp has a workbee to cut grass, fix things and generally improve things. I've wanted to go for many years but havent been able to. my Graduation ceremony was that weekend as well, but I needed an excuse to skip it :)
I took the 1650 with box blade, 1250 #2 with 50 inch deck and hitch for sprayer, and a 149 with a tiller. on the trailer my dad bought for me and my dads truck. he filled it with fuel and told me to have fun. thanks dad!

some of the stuff the other guys were working on. building the new chapel! the old one is as old as the camp, and too small for the 250+ people at a family camp.

and building new trailer stalls. I was able to do a bit of grading, but not well, too soft. a bobcat came and spread out the piles. it was a great weekend, was good to go up there and contribute. thanks to all of you in helping me get these machines to a point that they can benefit people like this!
