Awesome flail mower SamMac!! I bought this Bush hog flail mower exactly like yours same model last week for $100. Mine didnt come with engine but I have a new 9 horse briggs to put on it. What size of pulley is on yours on engine? Is it easy to pull start with belt tight on pulleys? Mine has all knives on it and all are freshly sharpened.

I'll have to measure the pulley. If you look at the one in the c-list add he has a centrifugal clutch on it. I like that idea. Mine is easy to start as it is. Think you got a great deal on yours. :beerchug:

Thanks! I like the centrifugal clutch pulley too. Yeah if you get a chance id like to know your pulley size on engine, I have to either get centrifugal pulley or a pulley like yours. Thanks SamMac:beerchug:

Jerry

The pulley on my engine is 5" OD. It was the OEM pulley from Bush Hog. Hope that helps.
