JayBrd 06-26-2009 12:19 AM

Well my wife had to do some stuff for her work back home, so I tagged along to spend time with a good friend and fellow Cub nut.

I got to spend a few hours on his 123 moving some clay and dirt around on our RC Dirt oval/off road track we have at my Mother-in-laws..

Well, I worked while he flew his 129 :biggrin2.gif:
http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...n/100_0459.jpg

Had a blast! I cannot believe what that thing would do with that blade!! I see a 122 in my near future for sure (yes I'm a gear head)

IAfarmer 06-26-2009 08:57 PM

After mowing last night, I took out my sons soccer cones and set up an obstacle course for the kids to practice manuevering the tractor through. Sure was fun to watch. Even my 3 year old did a little of it (with my very, very, close supervision).

papaglide 06-26-2009 11:18 PM

I love the picture of the 129 "moto crossing"! Tough a** tractor.

Diz Jr. 06-28-2009 12:46 AM

Mowing with the 149

Been working for about 3 weeks trying to get the deck and all related parts on the 149. Got most of it when i bought the tractor but this is the first time i have ever had it all on and working. Lot of worn parts and bent up pieces that needed fixed. This was also my first P.T.O. rebuild. The previous owner had tried to drill out the old set screws and ruined the pulley. But after getting a new pulley off of Chris Westfall I got it on and working. Its a 42" deck and cuts really well. I used it for several hours today.

Good looking machine Diz!!

Diz Jr. 06-28-2009 01:03 PM

Thanks CBH,
Now that i know everything will work, I need to pull the deck back out and get it painted up. But at this point will probabley wait and make it one of the winter projects.

papaglide 06-28-2009 03:13 PM

Then we got out the 128 and 102 and moved a lil sand and leved it

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...Picture054.jpg
Lesson learnd when dad says do not put the sand all up front and you do , you have to get get off and lift it up

This was a couple of weeks ago but it took me a bit to get the pics up. The Super Cub sure beats using the truck to put the boat in the garage for a little maint. Much easier to use in tight spots and has no problem at all moving it even on the hill in the backyard. That's a 17' jet boat.

Thanks for the pics of your tractor and boat

Thanks, I quess I got lucky wih my 1st cub. It's been alot of work and I've probably got more money in it than it's worth on the market but the more I use it the better I like it. Lot's off power and I really like the room as I'm not exactly tiny.

Nice Cub and boat squatch

IAfarmer 07-11-2009 08:12 PM

My mower deck has been rubbing the front tire on turns. Since I had a bad hit with the snow blade this winter, I assumed I tweaked the frame. So, I finally pulled it into the garage to take a look.

Thankfully, the mule drive was not fully engaged on one side, which was causing the rubbing. Simple fix!!

Diz Jr. 07-12-2009 12:02 AM

IAfarmer,
Glad to here it was nothing major.

IAfarmer 07-12-2009 03:18 PM

Sure eased my mind!

camarokidz28 07-12-2009 06:09 PM

a little early to do this but i will be ready for snow LOL

Bought this 109 last year for $100.00 and it runs a lil smokey . so we put the snow blower on it this weekend

I tried to take the hydro lever off s I can work on the dash but couldn't get it off. Whats the secret?
Any help? Oh I forgot it is a 147.
Thanks in advance

ole 147 07-12-2009 10:23 PM

I had 2 onans I got rid of the first on it was in a 318 John Dere. I think if U look up JUNK in wikopedia U will see a pic of the 318 I had.The first & last JD I had.
It had a 18hp Onan junk.
The second is a 28hp onan in a railspeeder 65mph crazed rail runner. WoW! what a beast.

B1jetmech 07-13-2009 03:23 PM

900 lbs of rolling thunder...LOL!

Today I rented a lawn roller to flatten out some high spots in the yard before the top soil arrives. The lawn roller is water filled and weighs just over 900 lbs.

The 1450 pulled with no problems...I'm so proud of it ;).

I haven't been posting much lately because I've not been doing anything Cub related other than mowing! Today I had to trim some trees, so I got out the 124 and the trailer and with a little help from my dogs, we soon had quite a load!

Diz Jr. 07-16-2009 01:01 PM

Looking good CBH
