Sam, I believe it could be the check valves.
Well if that is what is leaking that is an easy fix Jenn and I also discovered the steering column is also leaking. This is a bit more involved, holler if you need help. |
Worked on the shop a little today, should be ready to pull the rear out tomorrow:beerchug:

Did a PTO swap on the 1210/1640 today. The 1210’s had a 4.5” pulley on the PTO and the Vanguard 16 I put in that came out of a 2160 had a 6” pulley. Worked out to about a 30% overdrive. Before I roasted the bearings in the mower I thought it would be smart to put the correct size PTO on it. Had to get a mounting plate machined to accept the PTO from the old Mag 12 and a bushing for the ID on the PTO. The Kohler has a 1.125” shaft and the Vanguard has a 1” shaft. Sort of a PITA but it’s done and works as it should.
