I'll see if I can find it for you Tim. Even if you had to trace them, it shouldn't be that hard.
Should have ~Charge output ~Starter ~Oil pres/light ~Fuel/ carb solenoid ~Kill wire I'll see if I can find a color chart |
I got it figured out. My fantastic neighbor came over and helped me out. Was not difficult as you stated, just to much going on and let the frustration set in. All wired up now :-) I was able to take the starter wire right off the brake switch over to the starter as well. Looking at Jason's solution for the battery I may try to re-route the filler tube. Also noticed he is still running the solenoid back there. I am not aware of a reason so plan to do away with mine. Any reason not to???
Thanks for the assistance. You guys always have my back and is appreciated. I need to get you guys some pics I think. |

Not finding much time to work on the machine lately. Here are some pics to show my challenge. The battery will fit. But has no room for error. Hits the hydro go arm or the 3pt cross bar.

Ahhhhhh....... The fun of a custom build!!! :beerchug:

Hey all, finally made some progress on the machine so time for an update. The battery is in with a toolbox beside it. :-) Need to make a trans filler mount since the battery is where the old one was. But I have a plan already. All the hydraulics work! Lovin that part. Beefed up the rockshaft with a brace like the 2082 has and welded up some wear points.
I do have a problem with it not shutting off. Cuts off one cylinder. Changed the ignition switch, even added some grounds to no avail. Any ideas? Also debating on exhaust. Thinking of doing a cub style muffler out the top of the hood. Anyone done that? Or should I just dig up a 2084 muffler to bolt up and go on. |

Muffler, I'd use one for an 1864, 2084, 2284 etc. Just my 2 cents. |
Thanks Sam, I will have to check with the sponsors for a muffler. A reason for the muffler thought was due to snow blading and throwing. Wanted to get the heat going elsewhere so it does not ice up the implement.
So I will dig into the wiring schematic to see how to test it. |

How about some pics.
It just rocks having a 3pt and with its own lever is really sweet. Don't have a muffler so threw on a pipe out the top to see how that would feel. Really like not having the exhaust throwing out the front when messing with implements. Son loves the pipe. A little loud for my taste So I will probably mount a stock muffler with the exit up into a cub muffler out the hood. I do have a problem with belt alignment. Appears I do not have the engine placed correctly. Need to confirm this engine was supposed to have spacers and all the same. Even so it looks to far forward. Going to dig out the M20s PTO to see if it aligns closer on depth. Original plan was to swap them out if I had to have the smaller pulley for something. Let me know what you guys think. Last pic is with the schredder mounted. It lines up correctly on the 782. |
