Just thinking that if it won't fit in a flat rate box with the upper tube on it I can weld that on myself if it will help.

So does anybody else like the gt383mag bumper better that the factory one? It looks beefier and smoother to me. Good job on the bumper gt383mag :beerchug:

ok wife got home and it will fit into a flat rate box without the top bar welded on if people have a welder it would save on shipping... heck you might like it without top bar....as for it being beefier the tube is i believe .118 wall mild steel? cant remember but its the stuff that NHRA mandates as minimum for mild steel for roll bar didnt think it needs to be that heavy but its what i had

Im okay with welding the top bar myself.

jimbob200521 02-23-2015 03:45 PM

I don't have the option for welding at the moment :bash2:

Sucks to be you. :biggrin2:
You could leave the top bar off, not sure you need it anyway. :bigthink:

Shipping from WI to IL may not be bad even without going flat rate.

But it LOOKS so much better WITH the top part :biggrin2:

I may do that, when it comes time just have the top bar left off but ship it with it. That way I can take my time tracking someone down to weld it on for me.
