I think to many people get wrapped up in what's considered a restoration. Every car that crosses the block at Barrett Jackson has mud in it unless it's unrestored and fully documented. I've been to plenty of shows and most people don't even get within 5ft of the tractor so worrying about how the underside looks or bolts or any of that other b.s is just a waste of time. When I did the 100 I didn't rebuild the engine, it runs great and doesn't smoke so why waste the time and money. I consider that tractor to be restored but others may not but at the same time they probably wouldn't want to have to park next to it at a show.

It's a great looking 100. I think your "paps 100" resto thread was one of the first I looked at when I joined OCC. Paint and Body look great, and I'm sure your right in saying not many would park beside yours. I've seen several of these things after someone has "been through" them, and yours is among the better of them.

I just wanted to compliment you for the great job you are doing on the 126. Do not pay any attention to the detractors and correct police about your color choice. As I always say your tractor do it your way. If they are paying the bills then they have a reason to fault what you are doing.
