Thanks Eric, will see how she works tomorrow. Supposed to be 50 degrees here!!

juniors1282 02-18-2011 12:30 AM

Cool can't wait to hear how it works. I'm going to find one of those someday. It was 63 here today, but the cold is coming back over the weekend:angry:.

Only 3.5 hrs dang it felt longer then that! I haven't been braven enough to look at how long I was on the phone today or past two days. It's been a ton of time for sure.

Oh yeah!!! I Love that rear blade. I want one, :).

Adrian, very nice looking tractor and blade:beerchug:

I spent a couple hours last night trying to get a broken off piece of key out of the 124's ignition switch. Got close a couple times but had to give up on it as I was getting tired. Gave it another shot tonight and took me 1/2 hour to get it out:buttrock::clap:

Started getting the 42" mower deck straightened out - overall it's in good shape, just a few wows, warts and warps in the leading edges. They all came out pretty quickly with some cold hammering on the anvil. There's some moderate pitting on the under side but nothing serious and the only crack in it welded up nicely.

Diz Jr. 02-20-2011 10:36 AM

Nice work on the Deck

juniors1282 02-20-2011 10:58 AM

Dang Jude, I have an ignition from an "O" here that I have about 8 hours into trying to get a broken key out of. Maybe I should send it up north and let you take a crack at it, hehehe.

Adrian, That's is one great looking blade and tractor.

Hilltop, Deck looks great keep up the good work.

ACecil 02-20-2011 12:04 PM

Hilltop, great job on your deck!

hilltop 02-20-2011 12:56 PM

Thanks guys!

I've got goodies coming in from Mark @ IHCC Parts and I'll have to dust off the 'ol paint gun to shoot the deck - I can't wait to get it completed and blades turning under it again!

worked a little on the 122 today. before, it had Tru-Powers on it that came off a John Deere.....and Lazy me didn't wanna change rims out. so i painted the deere rims cub cadet white and slapped them on. only problem was, the rim wasn't an offset rim, so the tire would rub on the fenders. so the fenders came off. well, i got my hands on a tire changer from my mechanic and we changed the tires over to my cub cadet rims. they are narrower rims so it narrowed the tires in too which is cool. now the fenders are back on, grote light is back on and wheel weights installed. looks awesome. i got the tiller working as well. just put it all together and she works awesome! also topped off the hydraulic fluid in the Hydraulic lift and it works allot faster now. can't wait till spring!

got out the 102 today. she had a flat front tire. got that fixed. went to go start snow blowing the end of the driveway and the auger sprocket blew apart....so thats sitting in the shop waiting until i can get a replacement.

thats my cub day!

Sminkey 02-20-2011 05:35 PM

Nice work hilltop!! I love where you live, even though you got screwed on the snow this winter.

Eric, send it on up and I'll do my best to get it out for ya:biggrin2:. PM me if you want my address. It was tedious and took some patience. Saved myself $35, now just need to get a couple new keys as the other one that came with 124 is cracked.

The last couple of days I've split Allen's 122 took the hydro lift and creeper off switched rock shafts from the 125 and 122. Rebuilt the clutch on the 122. I wonder if Allen will notice that stainless steel drive shaft in there.:HeadScratch: Friday and Saturday I struggled until I turned the radio on and things went a lot better for me and Allen's 122 after that.:beer2:

I also made reports to Allen to keep him updated on the progress. I took pics but Allen has them now.:biggrin2: Got to keep the boss happy!

_DX3_ 02-20-2011 09:43 PM

Those stainless steel drive shafts are sweet aren't they? :biggrin2:

Nice Nick! I still dig that cab. I hope no one got hurt on that roll over. That's pretty scary stuff.

ihnick 02-21-2011 03:17 PM

woke up to 3 inches of snow. so i started up the 1450 and blew most of it then i cleaned up with the 128 and blade. i'm really starting to love the 128. then i pulled the 1650 into the shop and took the motor out so i can replace the connecting rod and the motor mounts. kinda boring but a busy cub day :beer2:

frontier 02-21-2011 03:37 PM
