Good work Eric:beerchug: I was very happy with my order from Rich, came quickly too! Got about 4" this morning then changed over to rain/mix earlier and now just rain:angry:. We have flood warnings and high wind advisory, yea!! Supposed to be in the 40's and lots of rain tomorrow.
Here's a pic of the 124's brake retainer. Is there enough brake pad?? Don't see anything in the service manual about replacing it or wear tolerance:bigthink: Just don't want to put it all back together if I should replace it. |
juniors1282, do you have the diagram on how to wire a mag in a 782? If not, let me know and I'll send it to you.
AJ |
Jude,
You wouldn't know what to do with yourself if you saw his place, plus you would be broke if you lived as close as I do, LOL. He was getting a really nice model 70 running today when I was there. He put it on CL tonight, sharp tractor with fenders. I'll have to try to get a picture of our lake it's the highest I've seen it since we moved in 10 years ago. I'm not sure about the brake pad I would say look at a new one and see how much lpad is on it, if it looks like it has a lot more I would replace it, just a thought. AJ, Not yet I was going to get one from Rich today and forgot. If you could send it to me that would be great. Don't be affraid to send any other info. you think I might need, lol. From what Rich said today it's sound pretty easy, but any extra help would be great, Thanks. I'm going up tomorrow afternoon to pick up the motor :beer2:. |

Let's see if this works.
|
Sminkey, you might as well replace that while you are in there...it isn't too expensive, and it doesn't look like there's much left of the one you have.
|
Yeah,i think it would be a good idea to replace it too,i dont think it has a lot of life on it,and you dont want the metal part to start grinding on the brake disc.

[QUOTE=Sminkey;62256]Ya Eric, don't need to live close to a place like that, shoot, at the rate I'm going, I'm gonna have my own cub salvage yard:beer2:. Oh, would like to see that 70!! That's the one tractor I still need for the collection!
LOL Jude I Can't wait, That means another place to get parts hehehe. Here ya go!!!!! You can buy it now and pick it up on your Cub run this summer :biggrin2:. I'm sure Rich would store it till then. It's really really nice! http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/grd/2258328211.html |

I have been wanting to make some foot pads from diamond plate. I was at a local mom and pop hardware store the other day and found a half sheet of 1/4" aluminum diamond sitting on the floor kinda in the corner. Looked at the price and it said $29.98, I grabbed it and headed to the counter and asked the owner if the price was correct. She said yep it's been back there for a very long time so that's the price. I bought it. Here's the first one, still have to clean up the edges a bit but looks pretty good so far. What do you think Duke? :biggrin2: I'm going to make enough for all my 82 series tractors.

Says Duke: I helped load Allen's 122 on his trailer...... :biggrin2:
|
I started making another sleeve hitch adapter so I'll have one for each of my Cubs. Got all the pieces cut and the holes drilled.
|
Adam, Did you get to sink your subsoiler in dirt yet?

Subsoiler: Thats so definitely gonna require video!! Too Cool! :biggrin2:

I haven't had a chance to try out the subsoiler yet. We've had so much rain lately, the ground is too wet to try it.
|
Well I go the motor from my buddy, It's junk. Broken connecting rod, took out the jug, distroyed the piston, and who knows what else. So the searh begins, I'm going to look for a replacement engine, if I don't find one in a couple weeks, I'll start gathering up the parts to rebuild the mag. Let the games begin, LOL.
|
Got the cubs out for some run time today. Don't they look good together...lol? :IH Trusted Hand:

They look great together Allen, But not as good as their owner. That's a big smile you have on your face there. With 2 good looking tractor's like that, I don't blame you one bit for smiling like that. Congrats again. :beerchug:
|
Thanks Eric, I really appreciate it!

Looking good Allen! Can't believe I'm gonna say it but, the 122 looks good in red next to the 100:beerchug: Have fun with it and look forward to some pics.
Sorry to hear about that Eric, good luck on the search! |
I love the pics Allen, and I too say do not change the red. I like it that way. :beerchug:

Well this is what I've been doing for the last couple of days. The 682 I bought is now tore down and I'm getting ready to sell off all the stuff I don't need.. Sorry guys.
AJ |
Great shots of the "kids" Allen!
You look like one proud "poppa"! |
Got the camper sold

Wifey said it was time for the camper to go so I pulled it through the soggy soil with the 682 and got it spruced up. It didn't even break a sweat and the camper was pushing 2500lbs. The first prospective buyer bought the camper and that made my weekend. Now what to do with the money from the camper sale? :bigthink:
|
Im glad to see a cub owner so happy Allen! Thats a great PIC! Maybe POTW
for 3-14-2011??:biggrin2: |
Awesome cub day for me!

I drove up to Lew's place today(darkminion) to get my first snowblower!! What a Cub Heaven! Great to meet Lew also!! I also got my 107 and 124 to my house today, and have pics of em. Finally, I moved all my tractors around, and somewhat organized according to what work needs done. The 107 needs pretty much everything, and the 124 is donating its kohler heart to the 104... so much to do!!! Now, if I can skip outta work during the day.... on with the pics!
OH yeah!! During my return trip, I saw a Delorean!! It didnt hit 88mph yet that I saw. Dont think it could. Im pretty sure I saw blue paint on left rear quarterpanel. Why paint SST??? Poor car!!! |
Allen,nice cubs.
I thinks all of us mugs should be shown! William, It was great to meet you also. Too bad my ATM was broken. Looks like you needed to buy some tires.... |
Hey Lew! I have been getting rid of my 4 x 8 tires and rims. I have become a big fan of the 6.5 x 8s What have you got? I was snowblowerblind when I was up there today, and forgot to ask. The 107 in the pics is the one the snowblower will go on.. Lots of work to do. It also needs ALL new wiring and I have no clue if any electrical parts are good yet or not. Im hoping for the best in that. I do have a real good set of rear tires and chains for it. The chains were actually on it when i got it. So was a set of red IH weights!
