I plowed my drive the the second time this season. Tire chains, the 200 Lb weight box and washer filled tires add a lot of grip.
Anyone ever added side boards on the end of the blade to turn the blades more into a snow pusher, like the blade you see attached onto loaders and backhoe that clean out parking lots. I could save a lot of time cleaning up if I did not have so much spillage from the blade. |

i got some seat time in today. blew snow with the 1650 in the driveway then out to a wood pile in the woods. then i hauled up some wood with the trusty rusty 129 and the #2 cart.

Pulled the Engine out of the 169 today. Needed to replace the oil pan. Old aluminum one had some damaged threads. Put a Cast iron oil pan on. While i was in there i removed the balance gears. They were really sloppy. I don't know how they had stayed in there. When i pulled the one off of the shaft a couple of the little bearings fell out.
