Put the 1641 twins to bed for the long winter ahead
1 Attachment(s)
Finally got a good day to exercise the 1641 twins I restored a while back out for a little ride. Dad's started up right away...mine took about 15 seconds.
I disconnected the trickle chargers and ran the cubs to the neighbors house and back a few times to burn up the (non-ethanol) gas in carb, then did some circles around the driveway to exercise the steering. Also exercised the hydro...all and all, good fun! The attached picture shows the twins parked for the winter after shutting off the fuel and letting engines run until the gas was out of the carburetor. Covered them with old sheets to keep the dust off. Garage heater is set for 50 degrees. It's going to be a long, long winter... :bigthink: |

Nice 782D. Do you have any pics of that tiller attached to the back of it?
|
Gotta love a 782D! I know I love mine!
|
I might have to get a picture of it this weekend or spring the only picture I have of the back is when I had to redo the fuel lines but and the fenderpan was off I might be able to later

it is a model 2 tiller and is attached by a original three point hitch and is belt driven. the tiller is a bit rusty but works amasing

Do any of you guys know if they offered a high back seat like what is on my 782d or is it just aftermarket Thanks
