LUKEOTT, There was a cut out for the rear window from the factory. I just had a piece of Lexan installed.

I have a 2 week break from school so I have been trying to finish up the cab (as parts supply allows).

Today I did most of the wiring. I still need to get a couple odds and ends to finish it up. I also made a switch panel , but need to wait for the paint to dry before I can mount it.

I also got the rear hitch on. I did some looking for washer fluid today. Don't have anywhere in town that has it for less then $2 something a gallon. So I think I will hold off on loading the tires for now.

I took a couple pictures of the other lights I put on. I hope they are good enough to see them.

The new seat came yesterday. It is a multi fit replacement seat, so the bolt holes did not line up. I had to make adapters to get it to work. It is a really nice seat and about half the cost of a cub cadet one. Here is a link to the one I used.

I got the switch panel in. I still need to get some wire hangers and clean up the wiring, but it is done and functional for now. I have one switch for the lights, one for the (soon to be) dome light, and one for the (soon to be ) wiper motor. I made places for 2 more in case I want to add something down the road.

I ran a fused main power and ground direct from the battery to the switch panel , then distributed from there. I thought about taping into the key switch and then decided not to. I wanted to be able remove the cab if needed as easily as possible. This way I just need to disconnect 2 wires from the battery and everything stays with the cab.

I started it and took it for a (short) ride today. I have some major water in the gas issues. I have been fighting this problem with this machine for some time now. I am just going to go get a new filter and line tomorrow. I pulled the bowl and it was full of water, so I wiped it out and put it back on. I will drain some out of the tank tomorrow, then put the new filter and line on. Hopefully after sitting overnight the water (if any is left) will be on the bottom and drain easily.

Anyway, during the short ride, I noticed there is allot of drone now with the cab on. Do any others with cabs experience this ? It is not real bad, but could definitely get annoying.

My cab has 1" thick foam in the top. Not sure how much it helps...I wear earplugs so any noise it's making doesn't bother me. I'd suggest earplugs, the tractor is loud enough as it is that you should be wearing ear protection anyway.

 Look'n good! Have one question, and trust me, I am not pointing fingers or pick'n cause I am FAR from being an expert or good at restoration..... The way you have the head lights mounted - are they not slanted on a 45 degree angle which makes them incorrect? I was always under the understanding that when you looked at the headlights and you see the little lines that create a cross hatch within the glass lense, they were supposed to be straight side to side and up and down?

compare these to yours....again, not pick'n, just trying to understand and be set straight in my way of thinking.
