Here’s the latest on the Supers.
Waiting for the new carb for the 2284, hopefully that will be the cure. The PTO clutch for the 2182 should be here tomorrow per Fed Ex and I can put the hood back on it. Got the new drive shaft in it yesterday and tried it out talk about smooth. Then a little touch up and I’m about done with the tractors then it’s time to give the mower decks some TLC. Guess I’ve got a bad case of Super addiction because I just bought the 1882 that I sold to Cub123 back from him. Just need to decide now what brand of power it’s going get for it’s second life. Love to find a nice Diesel for it. Sometimes I question my mental stability. Is 4 Cubs too many? Like I’m asking the right group LOL.:biggrin2: |
When you are only haulin' them one at a time, no med's needed!!

You can never have too many cubs, Sam! :biggrin2:

Guess I'm only a beginner, most I’ve done at once was two Supers. Gotta get a bigger trailer. LOL :beerchug: |
CAD, so how did you load that trailer?

Luckily it was drizzling and 2 of us just spun them around. Didn't need any tie downs!! |
It was good talking cubs today, sometime when the shed isn't a mess I'll pull the collection out and you can take a look at em all:biggrin2: lol, the sickness is only bad when you have to start pulling wheels off to stuff em it the back of the truck:beer2: I gotta stop by to see your new supers sometime too.

Hey Ben
I enjoyed the visit to your place. You have some cool toys. Love the O. Just like the very first Cub my uncle owned when I was a kid. Many fond memories of that tractor. I don't have an O so I must need one. Maybe we can find out who the members are in the area and have a Cub get-together this summer. :beerchug: |

Got the PTO for the 2182 today, installed it and the hood is back on. Gave it a good bath. Starting to look like a real one now. Also got most of the new gages that will replace the lights on the dash. All in all it was a good day.:beer2:

Sam, that looks like it's new on the showroom floor!
Did you have to do any plastic panel repair? Both of mine have decent plastic still, a couple of broken pegs but it all holds together fine. I'm interested in the gauge setup you're planning on, would consider that on mine. |
