Heinriech, Summit point sounds like a great idea. Looks like it is about 3.5 hours from us. I was going to do a coyote swap in the 99 but decided to keep the 4.6L. This is my 8th Mustang. One was an 85. Maybe we will take a trip down to Summit point this summer. The 85 looks great and I see it will keep up with traffic. Gotta love it. Z28 is a nice car but again not so much for plus size drivers. I looked at them when I considered the vette.

Just kidding Charles. I would love to have a car like that but I'm pretty sure it's kinda like the Cub thing. I like to buy and not sell.:biggrin2: I don't think I could be stuffing cars in the old chicken barn when the wife's not looking like I do Cubs. + Cubs are usually reasonably priced....muscle cars, not so much.

Oak I agree I stopped restoring large tractors and cars years ago due to size and cost. That's really how I got into Cubs. Smaller and cheaper. In a few weeks it will be 3 years since I flat lined on the operating table and spent a week in a coma. I never got to do a lot of adult stuff with my dad, I was away for 12 years through undergrad and grad school and interning. When I came back his health was failing and then he passed. I am hoping to be able to do things with my son. I don't care about cell phones, computers or x-box. He does have limited interest in the Cubs but is pretty much a normal 18 year old male and loves cars. So hopefully this will give us something to share for years to come.

Very nice car! If you want to get your son on a go cart track that is closer, I recommend trying the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix in Allentown, or the go karts at New Jersey Motorsports park in Millville. LVGP is a tight indoor track with gas go karts, the races are 8 min long and will wear you out! NJMP has an outdoor track with faster turns.

That's a very nice Mustang. I'm a Camaro fan myself, but I have a lot of respect for the Mustangs and Challengers. These days, you can't go wrong with any of them. Atleast the Mustang finally upgraded to IRS and ditched the solid axle for 2016. Could you update this with your supercharger install? I'm looking at a Magnuson supercharger kit for my new Camaro.

Are those Mach1 decals on the hood ?? Didn't know Ford offered it again.

Nice Hot Rod !!!!

drcjv 05-05-2016 08:54 AM

Yes they do say Mach 1. There currently is no Mach 1 offered. Growing up my favorite car was a 69 Mach 1. This is my rendition of a 2016 Mach 1. I am not sure if I will keep it this way. I have only had the car for a week. the graphics are easily changed.

New ride looks good Charles. Summit is a ball. Pic is from an EMRA race in 2003. :beerchug:
