We got some drifts yesterday in front of the shed . Went and got the 109 with snow blower on and fired up . Blew half of the drift , then the belt blew into 5 pieces . we fineshed with the 126 and 106 . Guess the warrenty was up on that belt .

Nice work IHinIN

camarokidz28 , Always nice to have a backup huh? :biggrin2.gif:

I put 1 inch spindles on my 169 today. Got the spindles off of e-bay.
I like to weld some plates to the sides to beef them up a little.

quick question diz. whats that little chain on your pto lever? i wish my 169 was running

Diz Jr. 12-29-2009 11:30 PM

:Thanks: ACecil

ihnick,
The chain is welded to my P.T.O. disengagement device :biggrin2.gif:

The handle has a good bit of wear in it. It wouldnt fully disengage the p.t.o. unless you held it back tight. You drop this wedge in there and it keeps the handle back. I made one for the 149 and 169

I added some side boards to my snow blade so that I can push more snow without the spillage. It is similar to the "Sno Pushers" you see clearing parking lots. Most of my snow gets push straight forward. Just tried it out on one inch of snow, and never even filled it up. Works pretty good for being made with left over wood and parts. I can quickly remove it and put it on as needed. I added some steel skid plates since the picture was take.

That certainly is "different" ! As long as it works..............right? :beerchug:
