Tonight, I bought a complete spring assist for 75 bucks in nice shape for my 1200. I also got a good deal on a headlight switch for it as well. Hooked up the switch and Voila'...I now have seeing eyeballs on the old girl!! Still need to get me a fuse holder so I can hook the PTO back up as I only had one fuse holder and used it for now for the lights. Need to locate some rear lights as well.Gotta email Matt about the steering wheel center cap too...

Yes,
You are the Matt. I just got a new laptop for X-Mas and have been having email trouble(operator error) so I may be a little slow catching up. I am looking for the triangular one not the rectangular type. I'll email you in a little to get the specifics worked out.

Snapped a shear bolt in the snowblower on Saturday. Got to the store and bought a few new ones yesterday (while my neighbor used his simplicity to clean my driveway :crap: ). Today - try to find a way to beat the old shear bolt out and get the blower going again

Finally got the shear bolt out. After beating it and using some PB Blaster, I finally gave in and got the drill out. Anyway, that worked great and I'm back in business.

I finally got a belt back on my 782/QA36A. It's a bit shorter than the OEM belt, but I should be able to tighten it properly. I also moved the pulley on the thrower a bit to realign the pulleys, as something changes when the belt is tightened and they don't line up after tightening the belt. I also ordered a pair of front tires that I'll swap between my 782, 782D, and 582 as needed :biggrin2.gif:

Today, I made a rear wiring harness an installed my taillights and got all the lights working. Had to get a different headlight switch as the one I bought a few weeks ago was no good.I then started used my torches and started cutting out the center plates so I can attach my wheel weights on the inside of the wheels like Merk did. I don't have IH ones but I am using barbell 10 lb ones slid over a 1 inch thread rod shaft. Should have them all smoothed and ready to weld the thread rod and paint by the end of the weekend.Waiting on a set of the frame bushings so I can add my 3 point hitch setup as well I need a rear plow and the bracketry yet..
