Got to finally get a little yard work done last night. Had the girlfriend on the 1050 drive under me while I cleaned the gutters, then hauled some mulch to the front yard and a load to the burn pile. She's not big on pictures :biggrin2: Then got the 1050 and 127 together for a little photo shoot.

I'm trying to convince her to pick out a Cub to call her own that we could work on together. I'm persistent, I'll get her one day :biggrin2: |

Took the deck off the 1811, cleaned it up good and primered the underside. Been mowing a lot of wet grass and it was rusting pretty good. Maybe this will slow it down some.
Attachment 39752 Poor old deck is getting a little worn out :crap: |
Looks good! Did you wire brush it, or chemically treat it? Your 1811 deck has non-adjustable gauge wheels, I take it that design is for a floating deck?
I believe my 1810 has an incorrect deck mounted on it (a 46" model 331)with adjustable wheels. The wheels are fighting the intended (?) floating arrangement, digging up the sod on turns? |
