While I had the 782 out, I decided to take some pics of a couple of my other red cubs. In the pic are my 682, 582, 582 Special, and my 782. Not pictured is my 482 and my 982. The 482 is about to get tore apart and redone, and my 982 is just buried and I didn't feel like digging it out.

Great line up AJ!! You gotta be proud of them! I only WISH I could have all them models like you! If only it wasn't for wife and kids - me and the dog would hav a blast with them! :biggrin2:

Check this thread out. If you want more picks or have any ?s let me no.

Yeah, that works, thanks...

Elephants1772 04-10-2011 10:19 PM

Well I changed the Switch on the 1772. Works like a charm now, Glowplugs work, and all functions are awesome again.

I did a little tideing up on the wireing, fixed a few "wow" conections, where they just wrapped one wire around another, and what do you know, it charges how, so that's a good thing.

Would have gotten pics, but didn't rememeber to bring camera, Dang.

Not sure what the pics would have been specifically for, but it would have been awesome anyway, it's a diesel after all.. :D

Thanks
Cody

Sweet pics Bud:beerchug: I like the banner on the trailer in pic # 6 :biggrin2:. Alot of green in those pics, but they are nice looking too. Your 782 is looking real nice, love that 73 too!!

Got to tearing down the new hydro unit you just sent me:beer2: Got the brackets/linkages degreased and still need to do the pump/cylinder. It's in very good shape, thanks again!!

ACecil 04-10-2011 11:04 PM

Excellent pics, everyone! :beerchug:

Methos 04-11-2011 12:23 AM

Evan and I got some plowing in today. Ok Evan did most of the plowing but he did take some pics. I'll let you figure out which ones he took. I have to go back and till it up tomorrow. I also got the 1200 put back together and it's running pretty good. Evan had to get some pics of it as well. The two pics of the 125 he didn't want me in them so he left most of me out of them.:biggrin2: Oh yeah he wore his safety googles as well. Better safe then sorry!

More pics tomorrow!

hilltop 04-11-2011 10:31 AM

Nice looking field Duke!

Great to see a boy that young at the wheel! Be careful though, I think the fact that he cut you outta the pics may be a sign he's in denial about who really owns the Cub!

_DX3_ 04-11-2011 10:58 AM

Great pics Duke. Love seeing your boy in the seat. I am thinking you have worked yourself out of a lot of seat time. But the torch must be passed. No better way to do it than with a cub and plow! :beerchug:

ACecil 04-11-2011 11:31 AM

Awesome pics, Duke! Love seeing Evan at the wheel. He's doing an excellent job! :IH Trusted Hand:

Thanks! I'm a bit worried about beng cut out of the pics! He knows the 125 is his but must not like sharing seat time! He sure does like pulling a plow with it.

Thanks! He loves to get seat time in (he learned all about seat time when Allen and Jenn stopped by) I've already lost out on alot of seat time but he enjoys it so much and it makes me happy that he's taken to the cubs as well he has. He still wants the loader on the 125!

Thanks Allen. Evan drives the wheels off the 125. Walt (the owner of the land) was amazed at how well Evan handled the tractor and plow. I need to find even more gardens to do now that there are two of us trying to get some plowing time in!

IHinIN 04-11-2011 07:32 PM

Got my 42" deck painted yesterday. It's just a spray bomb job. Need to buy seals for the spindles and it will be ready to put back together. I'm going to coat the underside with Herculiner to keep it from rusting away. I also need to make baffles for it. Forgot about the guards so I need to strip and repaint them.

_DX3_ 04-11-2011 07:42 PM

That deck looks outstanding. Spray bomb did good. :beerchug:

william1041200 04-11-2011 08:12 PM

That deck looks super! You must have busted your butt cleaning it all up. I cheated, and had the powdercoat guys bust their butts to clean mine up. And its the wrong color: I chose color, but I liked it. :biggrin2:

IHinIN 04-11-2011 10:00 PM

Thanks guys. It looks better in the pics than it does in person. The sheet metal is rust pitted badly and there's 5 or 6 places I had to cut out and weld in new metal because it was either rusted through or cracked. It should be good for another 10 or 20 years I hope.

william1041200 04-11-2011 10:04 PM

judging by your work, id say 40+:beerchug:

Deck looks very good, Adam!

mrcubcadet 04-11-2011 10:24 PM

Installed the 48" deck on the 100 yesterday, and mowed the yard.

Pulled it great, even in tall grass.:biggrin2:

ACecil 04-11-2011 10:37 PM

Your deck looks awesome, Adam! :beerchug:

Methos 04-12-2011 08:45 AM

Adam your deck looks great! I'm glad it mowed so well for you.

I got the large garden done. I was hoping to get some pics but Evan got bored so he went home and by the time I got done it was about dark and I couldn't get any pics worth a hoot.:bash2: I'll try and go down and get some of the finished garden this week.

IHinIN 04-14-2011 05:12 AM

Thanks for the compliments on the deck guys.

Yesterday, I rolled the yard with the 126. Looks like I'm not going to have the deck finished for the first mowing of the year so I'll have to use the MTD. I still need to get the seat recovered on the 126. The towel on there now isn't cutting it.

ACecil 04-14-2011 12:20 PM

Great looking 126 and lawn roller! I had a 126, and I miss it at times!

hilltop 04-14-2011 12:39 PM

Great job on the deck Adam!

I hear ya on having to use the MTD for the 1st mow - I'm darn near finished rebuilding the 42" deck for my 104 but the grass has outpaced my progress so the MonkeyWards mower is doing the job.

I can't complain too much though . . . that poor LT has been ridden REAL hard and put up wet so many times it's about ready to give up the ghost but it keeps on trooping along!

Was looking thru CL this morning and saw an add for a 30 gallon parts washer. An item I have been wanting for my shop. Called and found out the guy still had it. Long story short, Picked it up and also a small sand blaster cabinet from the same guy, yet another item I have been wanting. Got everything home and of course got the sand blaster going. Put the head from the 128 in there and got it looking pretty good.

Nice congrats I've been looking for both of those for awhile now. You'll love them both. :beerchug:

I knew the rain was coming so I was able to get the yard mowed, and sure enough, with four laps left to go it was raining. Not too bad of timing. LOL

I was able to get my flywheel cleaned up and painted today also. You can see rain drops on the back side...

I picked up the new steering parts for the 682 today, and ordered a thrust bearing for the lower end. I noticed a 1810 in his lot, along with a well used IH build 782. So I just had to go snoop....I just may have found me a QL 1250 too boot. He's a bit steep on the price, but overall it may not be that bad.. I have some time to ponder it. The wife said "don't even think of bringing home a tractor" so I left it for another day....:biggrin2:

Got home from work today and decided to start rolling the yard. Went down to the shed and fired up the 1050. It hadn't been started in a year. Fired up after about 10 seconds!
Took couple pictures of it earning its keep!

Nice family photo with all of them side by side :biggrin2:
