Winterized my #127 for snow.

Removed deck,
Undercarriage,

Then my yearly hydro filter change. (Gulp)
Called 2 auto places to find out availability of the Wix-51410 hydro filter.
O'Riellys had it for $ 24.00 special order. Double gulp!
So went on amazon.com & found it for $ 9.74 :beerchug: with free shipping for
Filter because of a few other thingies ordered.
So ill hold off a week on the fluid change..:bash2:

Got the wheel weights on,
Chains,
Plow, & ready to have fun.

NIK,

Only $24.00 for a 51410, they are proud of that. These guys are just a little less expensive

Take this pic to your O'Reilly store!! You can see the date on the ticket and the price. List isn't even as high as they quoted you!!!!! OHHHHHH THAT MAKES ME HOT when parts stores rip people off!!!!

Attachment 44388

Guess I didn't get the part number in the pic..... But I can!

Mounted up the 551 today , had a trace of the white stuff again last night . The only thing i wasn't sure off was how the lift rod attached to the lift arm . There wasn't anything from the previous owner as far as a bracket so i used a grade 8 shoulder bolt and a couple of nuts . works ok but shortens up the turning radius as the tire hits the lift rod under full turn . http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps5827153f.jpg

Thieves they are.

But, she did say that as a whole the filter would be around $ 24.00, I'm assuming she was including the tax & giving me a round-off. Amount.

But it's obvious you have an account @ O'Riellys for that much of a discount:bigthink:

NIK,

Nik

You were going to get screwed and not even kissed by O'Riellys. I bought a Cub trans filter for about $11.50 a few weeks ago. I was in a rush and the NAPA store was out of 1410's. They hit me for about $8.00 and WIX makes the 1410 for NAPA

NIK,

I do have an account, so yeah I get a good deal.... but walk in is $11.49! Even with tax, that's no where near $24!
Shoot, I could buy another one and send it to you for under $24!
Oh well. Just hate that. At least you got one coming! :beerchug:
