Lew sweet line up you've got there!
Jay awesome pics as always! Gotta get some practice in your furrow is a little crooked.:beer2: Chip I'm glad it's you and not me cutting all that wood. My dad used to sell fire wood and we cut and split 4 cord a day. I'm done with firewood! |
Cord = 4x4x8 ... so what is a "slit heep" ? :bigthink:

Took off the front snow plow and put the 60" deck on. man that was a pain in the butt. The mule drive was a little tweaked and hard to get lined up in front. Still need the front deck wheels but it works pritty good. My little helper was there on his tractor.:beerchug:

Forgive my spelling and fast typing. I went to public school and was more interested in the girls there than the classes. |

Looking good Jay!!!
Today I put the 42" cast end deck on the 123 and cut the grass for the first time. Looks soooooo nice. http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/a...ePics672-1.jpg http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/a...alePics674.jpg |
Jeez Lew! Nice lawn!!! :beerchug:
|
So that's the color lawns are supposed to be..In central Texas we are starting to wonder if brown (or black!) is the permanent color of grass. Upside is we haven't spent any time or money mowing yet this year. (Except my neighbor who has a septic system has to keep mowing over his leach field...)
|
Nice 123 and lawn, Lew!
|
You don't want to see my lawn. I'm going to need a bushhog to knock it down before it drys out. Hopefully I can get to it saturday. I might have to hook up the 50c deck to the 582 and knock the top of it off so the wife can go back over it with the LT2180 and finish mow it.

Tackled the "field" next door, the 1811 did a great job! looks rough but thats ok since i had the hour and a half seat time on just this one lot! :beerchug: This was just to keep the critters away from our yard and almost looks like it was bush hogged. Then hooked up the rear blade and leveled out the drive way. Hope everyone enjoys the pics!

Awesome pics, Dan! Thanks for sharing!

I got some double seat time today! Had to use the 100 and 122, along with both carts. Jenn put a new azalea bed in front of the house. It looks great!

I like the hat!! |
Looking pretty dapper there Allen!
You keep this up you're going to have to get in touch with Jay Leno and get some ideas for building the ultimate "Cub Garage"! I envy you your sunny weather! |
Nice pictures of the Cubs Allen!
Today I got the 48" deck center spindle off to replace a bearing. Hope to get it mowing again soon. :biggrin2: |

Had to move the 102 to stack wood in the shed for making syrup, so while I had it running I hooked to the AGRI-fab 1000 wagon and picked up the sticks in the yard. That creeper gear is nice you can get off and let it go! (This tractor has only received a new head gasket and general cleaning since we pulled it from a barn a year ago.)
Looked across the yard and the neighbor had his Cub zero turn mower stuck. Took the 102 over 4 times and gave him a pull each time to get his yard done. He has a broken foot so he could not get off the machine! After unloading the sticks I filled the wagon with a load of wood for the house. Pulled it about 10 feet and was stuck in the muck. I unhooked, used a strap and got out about 10 feet away from the wagon, and the 102 pulled it right out! I was very surprised that the 102 pulled its self out let alone continue to pull the load of wood! After placing this load of wood near the house I assembled the lawn rake and picked up the clumped grass in the yard. So the 102 got a good work out today and never missed a beat. Also took it down to look at the 5 hives of bees. I don't own a 4 wheeler so these Cubs serve that need. Regards, Chris |
Thanks guys! :beerchug:

Yesterday I had to get 2 new 711-30333 Pin, Damper Spring Guide to repair the 125. I lost both pin guides but had both springs on the top of the rear end casting. I called 10 places before I found a place that had them in stock. Made the drive talked to Allen for a bit to ease the trip on a friday afternoon.:biggrin2: Got them installed and did a couple of laps around the house before Evan came out and showed me how to drive his 125.:biggrin2: I took the baby for a ride today and she wasn't to sureabout it but really loved it once the wind was hitting her face. She started screaming when I stopped but I had work to do and play time was over.
The rest can be found in the garden and landscaping section of the site.:beer2: |
Nice 2072 cubcrazy. that is how i need mine to look.

Had to load up some dirt and build the ground back up around the back of the carport(rain washed it out). At least got some set time:beerchug:

Nice pic! Thanks for sharing. :beerchug:

Saturday I mowed about 1/4 to 1/2 acre of grass with the old 1810
|
This weekend I decided to put my 70 back together and start her up. Maybe even put it up for sale. I still need to change the oil and fill the rear end. It's in solid original condition, has a replacement (black) motor with no ID tag, so I'm not 100% what it is. If anyone has any info on how to tell for sure, I'd appreciate it. I cleaned up the carb, choke and throttle cables. It always ran excellent, no smoke and started on the first push of the starter. Once I get the fluids changed and a tank of gas in her, I guess I'll have to make a decision.
This rainy weather in western PA is really starting to get to me. I can't even get my garden tilled and prepped for planting yet. I'll need a week of dry, sunny weather. The garden, 982 & tiller may have to wait until the end of the month or even early June. |

I am in the same boat as you with my garden. Lousy rain!!!!! |
isn't there something about the number of bolts in the head you can somewhat tell the engine?
|
Today me and my little took some metal grate and center blocks for weight and started dragging part of our feild to turn it back into yard. She about fell asleep while we were riding!
|
Since we have gotten it back running we have put almost 10 hours in it. it now has 1055.5 hours on it. All oem parts so far but, the front PTO likes to hangup or come on by it's self
