I had the 782D out for the first time this season. I noticed it was going thru a lot of fuel, then noticed it seemed to be spraying most of it out the left side of the tractor. I had meant to fix this last fall (but you know how that goes)
Took the side panel off, then replaced the fuel filter and more importantly the leaky O-ring and we're good to go again. I love that tractor... what a hoss that little diesel is ....! John |
Glad you're enjoying the 782D, John!

Darrell,
Those things are HEAVY! Did ya lift the front up any? The guy I bought mine from used it on a 982. He told me with the tiller up, he could walk around to the front and lift the tractor with one finger. :biggrin2: Still have to get mine installed and give it a try. Mine does look different than yours, though. Thanks for sharing the pic! |

Huh... I'll have to try that! Mine doesn't raise the tiller a whole lot off the ground... I might have to do a little adjusting... :beerchug: |
Good looking 982 and tiller, Darrell!

Dug into the 149

Got the 149 in the shop last night and dug into it today.
First was to fix one of the PO mods on the positive cable. Took off the tiller gear box, and of course sprung a leak. Who knows when the last time the fluid and filter was changed anyway, so........ It was some fairly gunky stuff:bigthink: |
Todd has a new project! :beerchug:
