I would wait longer than 48 hours to reassemble if you are able, as the paint is not going to be very hard at all at first, particularly if you didn't use hardener.

You also may want to wait a couple months to run it for the first time, too...the paint won't be very fuel-resistant at first either, so if you spill/drip any, or have a leak, you will have a mess on your hands.

Ok thanks Matt! I still have to rebuild the motor so it will be awhile before i start it up and i need a wiring harness

I did start to put parts back on today like the dash and front end. I rebuilt the steering box to find out it was to short! lol I need a new axle pin to get the front end done than it will have no play at all! Then i have to repaint the trans. I'm using the boom this time!
