Sharp new Mustang and Camaro.
No one mentioned the red C3 corvette in the first post.

I have an appointment in a week to have the supercharger installed. so I need to get this break in done. Problem is that it has rained 5 out of the 7 days that I have had the car. I went out last night for a midnight run and did about 100 miles all below 60 mph and below 4000 rpm. Id rather be water boarded. I don't mind the young kids in the Camaros and mustangs thinking they just spanked gramps in his new mustang but, I can't handle the Suburus, Lexuses and BMW 3 series that just think they whooped up on me, when I pull out of a light like I am in a funeral procession. It was all worth it though because for the first time in a long time I spent a few hours with my son no arguments or issues we actually just talked and shared enthusiasm for the car. A couple of my car buddies went along 2016 vette, and 2015 Mustang. At one point at one of are many pee pee stops as most of us take water pills and as discussed future rides and shows, My son ask are you guys really going to let me hang out and ride with you guys. He grew up going to car shows but always went home with mom when the men went out driving. My friend answered with do you have a car, he answered with yes sir I do. My friend then told him well we have been waiting 18 years for you to join us so yes welcome to the group. My son just looked at me and smiled.

Bugeye the 74 vette was my wife's first car she got it when she was 16. She drove until about 15 years ago. I was going to restore it but now with keeping the 99 Roush and the new mustang I am going to sell it as I need space in the garage. The car is in great mechanical condition interior is very good but it needs bumpers and paint.

Well break in miles finally done and got to run full open throttle a few times. The car runs great. I love the automatic transmission just stomp and go, pulls hard all the way to 7 grand, still trying to get used to the paddle shifters not sure about them yet. Had a C6 vette take a crack at me yesterday. I'd say the cars were about equal I pulled about a half a car on him. Tonight it goes in for the supercharger. It will add about 250-270 hp for a total around 700. The only other change I need to do is exhaust, the car is very quiet too quiet my wife's Lincoln MKS sounds better. I do not want obnoxious just a little sound when under throttle. My son and have spent more time together in the past three weeks than the two previous years. He has shown a real interest in the cars. His attitude is much better and we are communicating. Hopefully it continues.

Car looks great but where's the donut video?:biggrin2:

Maybe I missed it somewhere but what supercharger kit did you get, Roush? I think there based on a Eaton TVS2300 blower, which is the factory blower for the ZR1 Vette. Should have a crazy amount of bottom end torque.

My buddy has a 2013 Camaro 1LE with a twin turbo Hellion kit on it. It currently puts down 650 to the tire. He just installed a meth injection kit so he can turn up the boost. Told me last week he's shooting for 750 to the tire. Car is just stupid fast. 1st and 2nd gear are just completely useless on the street, 3rd and 4th can lay rubber at will. That's with 305 Eagle F1 Supercar tires on the back.

Tim my son wants to get a go pro so I am sure some videos will follow. I am putting on the Roush supercharger. I can't wait to see how it runs. I am not going as crazy as I did on the 99 because I want it very streetable and want the wife to be able to drive it as well as my daughter. I will definitely keep up with traffic.

You need to do a hover conversion and then you won't have to worry about traffic, while your at it throw in a flux capacitor as I'm sure it can get up to 88mph.:biggrin2: all you would need then is the necessary 1.21 gigawatts.:ROTF1:

Well now there are a few more squirrels living under the hood. The car runs very well. Not sure if it is as good as a flux capacitor or not. The last mod I need to do is remove the factory resonator and replace with an H pipe, just to get a little sound. I stopped in at a Chevy dealer last night to show a good friend of mine the car. All the salesmen came out and ogled the car. The Fonzie of the bunch said "you looking to trade" I said I just got it. He said "OK but do you want a fast car" I said I have a fast car in fact I have two. "He said no really" I said really. I ask him if he meant a Vette he said no "I mean a Z06". I said the Z06 is an awesome car but no faster in a 1/4 mile run. They all laughed and said no mustang could hang with a Z06. I said for $2500 you could find out let's fire it up an go and next week Ill bring my other car down for another $2500. As usual it is all fun and games until somebody gets poked in the eye. Obviously they could not take the new car off the lot to race. So I told them to contact customers with a Z06 and we will see. I know the 99 will easily best a Z06, The 16 should on paper but is as of yet untested. I am pretty sure one of their Z06 owners will jump at the chance to silence a lowly mustang owner. Only time will tell.:BB&YS:
