Was going to get a set of round fenders . But after i put the tires on I saw that i have no room to put factory fenders on .Those are 11 inch wheels and the dish is the same front and back of wheel . So time to fab a set .

Great pictures ACecil. Looks like you had a pretty good load in the 2nd picture.:biggrin2.gif:

ACecil 09-06-2009 12:47 AM

Diz, you got that right..LOL. Grass clippings are very heavy. :biggrin2.gif:

Mountain Heritage 09-06-2009 09:17 PM

Sweet! I haven't seen an Allis in a dogs age! I thought they were rusted out to the level of dirt by now. Good for you that you kept it.....I think he would smile because of it! I say it deserves some fresh orange some day soon....perhaps some new decals too....always did like them Allis emblems too....strange to say...but my Grandpa taught me how to drive on an Allis.....it was a big one...185 farm tractor...but still remember it...spent MANY day's sitting on them square flat fenders riding around the feilds.....good memories!

ACecil 09-07-2009 03:32 PM

Got more seat time today. My wife and I, trimmed the hedges and put mulch in the bed, where the hedges are located. Here's a quick pic, I took.

ACecil,
I just noticed you and I run the same trailer. LoadHog. Your's is cleaner though.:biggrin2.gif:

papaglide 09-07-2009 04:04 PM

I went out and cut the grass AGAIN with the 1862. I do enjoy doing it a lot. I've got a few L-o-n-g stretches of straight running:beerchug:

ACecil 09-07-2009 05:32 PM

RPalmer,

Thanks! That cart is very special to me. It was my grandpa's. He passed away, back in December of 2007. Everytime I use it, I think of him.

Diz Jr. 09-07-2009 09:16 PM

ACecil,
Great picture of the 100. You have really been busy this week havent you?

papaglide, Sounds like you had fun on the 1862. I mowed today also, Used the 149.

ACecil 09-07-2009 11:44 PM

Hey Diz, I sure have..LOL. You know me, I enjoy the seat time. :beerchug:

papaglide 09-08-2009 12:13 AM

Diz, I see that you used your 149. Nice! I used the 169 for about a third of my yard last wednesday, boy do I like that tractor.

ACecil 09-08-2009 01:08 AM

Great job, Bill! I'd love to hear your 1712 run..LOL! :IH Trusted Hand:

aagitch 09-08-2009 08:35 PM

It would be nice to see a pic of the dual exhaust

Diz Jr. 09-08-2009 08:48 PM

Wild Bill,
Did you get any pictures of the spring shiming operation? I think i know what you did but if you got a picture it would be great.

papaglide 09-08-2009 11:16 PM

I had a blast today but it didn't last long enough. I fired up the 1882 and dug out my fire pit with it. It used to take me about a half an hour or so digging it out by hand and then dumping my cart but with the FEL, MAN, two scoops, one level and bingo job done in 10 minutes. What a really cool tractor!! I was so happy that I had to have a couple of these..:beer2:

ACecil 09-09-2009 12:21 AM

Sounds like you had a great time on your cub today, papaglide! :beerchug:

ACecil 09-12-2009 04:25 PM

My wife and I, decided that it's time to pull the mater plants. So, I got the 100 and cart out, and got to work.

Diz Jr. 09-12-2009 08:40 PM

ACecil,
Always enjoy the pictures of you and the 100.

I took the 149 up to the home place today and did the mowing up there. Takes about 3 to 3-1/2 hours to do. The only picture i got was going up the road. I snapped one in the rear view mirror. I just love looking back and seeing that mighty Cub bearing down on me :biggrin2.gif:

http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...9-12-09002.jpg

Then when i got home i got the 169 out and mowed everything around here and over at the neighbors. Daughter was here to get a few pictures.

Both the Cubs are really fun to mow with.

RPalmer 09-12-2009 10:14 PM

ACecil
Nice pictures. I have to ask. What are mater plants? I would have guessed plants that matter but since they are in the trailer roots and fruits I don't know.

Diz Jr.
Great looking 169. Are you going to use it for snow removal? I think it would be a blast using that hp.

Diz Jr. 09-12-2009 10:35 PM

RPalmer,
I am thinking i will put the blade on the 169 this winter. The 149 did great last winter but i want to see what the bigger one will do :biggrin2.gif:

ACecil 09-12-2009 11:36 PM

Thanks Diz! I enjoyed your pics, as well!

RPalmer: Those were our tomato plants. That's how we say tomato here..LOL. :beerchug:

ACecil 09-19-2009 04:04 PM

RPalmer 09-19-2009 04:12 PM

lonnyb,

That's a nice photo. How does your Cub handle pulling that full wagon?

ACecil,

That dually look and stack keep looking better and better to me.

Mowing with the 128

Had to mow a little bit today, so I decided to play around with my new video camera. This sure isn't anything special...just something to look at!

:Explode:Look what I did with my cub today!

Diz Jr. 09-20-2009 10:29 PM

Cub Kong,

Looks like you are giving it a thorough inspection :biggrin2.gif:

RPalmer 09-20-2009 11:29 PM

Cub Kong,
I counted four wrenches and two pairs of pliers. That's almost all it takes to tear it all the way down and apart. Oh wait. You know that already. :biggrin2.gif:

ACecil 09-20-2009 11:46 PM

Nice work, Cub Kong! Please keep us updated, on the progress of your Original. :beerchug:

Cub Kong 09-21-2009 12:48 AM

Let me tell you a lil about my original. First off I feel I stole the thing at $100.
Second I bouoght it sight unseen. It belonged to a guy I know and he claims he bought it new. He told me he had a buddy put a new short block on it years ago and it never ran right so he stuck it in the shed and forgot about it.
I started messing with it this morning and figured I'd see if I could get it to run. I looked it over and put fresh oil in it and tried it and it fired right up.
That would have been cool but the hammer in the engine took the fun out if it. When I checked over the engine I missed the throttle cable going straight to the carb (no governor) I didnt over rev it but someone had years ago and knocked the rod bearing out and scored the cylinder a little. So now I've got to find a rod. I think the piston will live. had real good compression and when it was running it didnt smoke.:OhOh:

I sure am, its seems to be a tough tractor!! I think that its my favorite with the 1862 coming second. The 127 is my daughter's, so she thinks!!! The 1882 with loader is just plain cool...but I don't use it much.
