I don't live in the part of Illinois where the soil is black and pretty. It's not bad here, but our topsoil is pretty shallow. I was plowing about 5' consistently. Couldn't pull it any deeper than that. Here, you hit hard clay on average at 12". Most of the time the topsoil is good till around 8" or 9". In my garden spot I wasn't hitting clay at 5" but it started getting really hard. Topsoil is pretty good though! :beerchug:

Yeah, looks like we're all in for a few days of rain. :angry:
The 1811 is still wearing it's "coat". LOL. Didn't plan on using it for mowing duty. That's what I decided the 682's job was going to be, but until I get a motor in it, the 1811 will mow. Took the plexi off the bottom of the front of the cab and pulled the doors. Otherwise, looks like it did in the winter! :beerchug:
