Seems like the threads been slow lately, so I'll liven it up!! I got to use an 1811 today to pick up debris from the last batch of storms we've had (no pics of that) then got the 1863 out and did the neighborhood mowing :biggrin2: took several hours, but I cut the forest that has been growing down to size. Afterwords, I got an 1811 back out and hooked it up to the new trailer I got. Took it out and filled it with grass clippings for the garden. Afterwords, my cousin came by and relaxed with a couple cool ones and watched the fire works from my back yard. A very good day all together :beerchug:

Been a busy couple days off, I figure why not share a couple more!!

Since I got my 1863, I've removed the engine and cleaned up the block, frame, mounting plate, under shrouds, piston/valve tins, etc. But I haven't done anything with the air cleaner or the eye-soar of a muffle shroud. It finally got its turn on my to-do list today. Removed, wire-wheeled down to bare metal, cleaned it up, and put on a couple coats of flat black hi-temp paint. This should hold up for a while!

Still feeling out my new to me 2182 and getting to know her flaws as well as good points.
I epoxied two broken center hood mounting tabs, adjusted the brakes, deck wheels and carb. Cleaned and pressure washed the deck and all the parts under the center cover. Looked like a big black blob before.

I Had to work today, but yesterday I went to the hunting leases and did some work. Cut grass about half the day. I dont know why I still get supprised at what these cubs will do.
