Today I got the ags and rims mounted on the 1811. Now it's time to get some V61s.:biggrin2: |

Thanks guys. Diesel, I had a flat and stole a wheel off the 126, that's why they're not matched. Teet, I'm lucky that I can pump water from a stream to water my yard or it would be rather crispy too with all the heat we are having. I'm ready for nice cool fall weather!
|
Well I put the fenders and seat on one of my originals and am getting ready to put the lights on so I can tear it down for painting.

Duke it was the complete one without lights. Vince came over yesterday and rode it. It runs sweet! It has an external resister coil that I'm going to change but other than changing the oil and carb and setting the timing that is all I had to do to get it running. The other one is going to be a challenge.

Yeah, it is a sweet ride. I'm going to have to replace the belts too. They are a little thread bare but still working.
|
I painted the gas tank on the 73 and order decals for it. I also made a vid here is the link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ee1GhjZXg3s

Nice job! Enjoyed your vid!
|
Neat vid. Are you restoring the 73 or just improving the looks it?
|
Well, I got the bearing in my PTO replaced today and Alison and I mowed some grass. Tomorrow I plan on changing my deck belt it's a 44C and I got a 72"x 5/8" belt for it. Is this the right size for it? It has a 77"x1/2" on it now it cut but in tall grass it slips. Help Please!!!

Thanks guys!

I've never seen someone have to sweep up so many leaves in the summer, but then again, I have mainly willows around the yard so not much to sweep up, lol. But I think Allen likes his sweeper as much as I love mine. I never knew how good they worked. Looking good Allen.
|
Thanks guys! :beerchug:
Bill: The sub frame looks good on the 100. I feel silly to say this, but I don't have the sub frame in the right location, on the right footrest side. Jenn and I, are having a problem getting to the bolt, so we can't get the right footrest off. We'll get it though! :High5: DWayne: You got that right, I love the sweeper! The bad heat is making the leaves fall earlier. |
Yes, it just don't feel right raking leaves in end of July/early August especially in this horrible heat! I'm ready for the cool weather! :biggrin2:
Yep, Al does look good using the sweeper. It sure does save us A LOT of time raking! The Sycamore tree sure is dropping the leaves already! |
Looking good ACecil

Thanks Diz!

1250 hydro cork gasket replacement
3 Attachment(s)
I pulled the transaxle out of my 1250 this morning to replace the leaking cork gasket between the pump and differential houseing.I will also do a trunion weld repair at the corners of the spring plate.I orderd new springs and cups.I need to shim the linkage so I got some .010 washer shims.
|
Wow, that trunion has some pretty good wear in all corners, but nothing too hard to fix. Looks like you have all the bases covered. :beerchug:
