Ya, it was 93 degrees out yesterday, but this is so much easier to work on when it's NOT snowing out!

Jeffro
Nice work getting the blower hooked up and ready :beerchug:

IHinIN 09-05-2011 09:04 PM

I got my new Tru Powers on some freshly painted wheels and got them on the 100. Then I put the chains on my turf tires so they'll be ready when the snow starts flying. Tomorrow I'll get some pics of the 100 with it's new shoes.

ACecil 09-05-2011 10:30 PM

Looking forward to your pics, Adam! :beerchug:

Well the heat has gone away and felt like getting out in the shop and working on the 1572 a bit. I needed to get my battery tender cable installed on the battery. I was looking over the motor and noticed the left rear top ISO bushing had split in 3 places, but doesn't seem to be saggin yet. The right side ISO's looked fine. Looks like I'll have some winter time maintenance to do.

well after buying the 100 last fall, parking it cuz of a tranny noise, fixing that, and trying to hunt down a part. the part finally came from RF houtz and sons today. so i got that put in the creeper and put the tractor back together. no leaks or troubles yet so im happy. i through the rake on the back just for show :biggrin2: so happy to have the loaded 100 back and going. also fixed the black eye on the 149 behind the 100 haha

IHinIN 09-06-2011 09:19 PM

I snapped a few pics of the 100 with it's new 23x8.50 Tru Powers.

Well I've been pretty busy as of late working on Allen's 100 and getting it ready for him to pick it up this past weekend. Had a bunch of gremlins show up on it but was able to get them fixed so Allen wouldn't have any problems with it when he got it home. I like to make sure everything is just right for him so I can hear him giggle when we talk. He sure does love his 100's!

I got some seat time on the 1650 last night. I mowed grass with it after I got the deck leveled out. I'm very happy the way it mows! I've put the tiller gear box on the 1650. I'm so looking forward to tilling with it! I mounted the ags on it when Allen was in town so we could plow my garden up and expand it again!:biggrin2:

To do list for some keepers and sellers.
This fall replace the ISO mounts on the 1650 and stop some leaks! So tired of putting oil dry under the tractor!

Install new ISO mounts and front axle for the 1200! I've got to get this fixed so I can list it for sale and get it out of the storeage unit!

Swap some oil pans around on some k161's and get them remounted into some sellers.

I've got to start listing parts for sale to get back some shelf space! I've got way to much stuf laying around here!

Get Todd's O with rear pto ready to meet up with him. I'm so looking forward to getting this running for him! Plus I've never driven a O before so looking forward to that!

ACecil 09-08-2011 11:09 AM

The 100 is an awesome tractor, Duke! Thanks for all you done, to make it a great 100! It's definitely a keeper, my friend! Might get the blade mounted this weekend. :IH Trusted Hand:

I'm thinking on it I'll have to ask the guy first. I have a motor getting bored out. The 1000 is parted out but has the rearend, frame, tires, axle, and i thank the dash tower. No motor or hood and grill. What would be a good price for it?:bigthink:

darkminion_17 09-08-2011 09:31 PM

Allen,
I am glad Duke hooked you up and he is truly someone to look up to....:beerchug:

Well I was having problems shifting the 72 the other day so I had to split it to see what was going on in there.Looked pretty good in there no rust or water,I drained out the fluid and did not see the proverbial Niagara Falls coming out the drain hole...:BlahBlah:
One fork was rubbing against the other so I loosened the shifter fork bolts and tweaked them slightly.Filled it up while I have the shifter off and then worked on the clutch. They replaced the disc and the trued up the plates but the T.O. bearing was shot, and so was the teaser spring.New parts and were good to go.

Picked up some N.O.S. hubcaps at an IH dealer and put them on the 72.

Yesterday I found another yellow and white 82 series, :biggrin2:.........An '87 1810, with about 750 hrs.

Does need some work, and I haven't heard it run yet......but it does have compression. I don't have much in it...so I couldn't resist! :biggrin2:

Do have side panels, and front PTO.....just not installed.

Methos 09-09-2011 01:11 PM

Who needs to crawl when you've got a 147 to drive around!

Sweet score Conner!

Looks like the new 100 handles the sweeper alright.
Nice lineup

_DX3_ 09-11-2011 04:35 PM

Great looking line up Allen. You need an American flag and an IH flag to put with them and line them up each weekend for the passers by to look at :). Stuff like that draws my eye every time. :beerchug:

Cubcrazy 09-11-2011 05:43 PM

Looking good Allen!!:beerchug:

ACecil 09-11-2011 10:38 PM
