Wow Sam I've seen less dirt in a garden. Cleaned up nice though.

I like the way you give them "the treatment"!:biggrin2: How's the wiring on this one?

Got the engine out today. Rear main seal is leaking and it was packed full with grass. Did a compression test and also pressurized the cylinders with shop air to see if it has any indication of a bad head gasket. Looks like it's OK so it will get cleaned up and a new seal and put into the JD. Looks like the mice ate the pre filter and the drive shaft boot but the didn't get inside the blower housing, probably too much oil for them.

Holy sh!t Sam, looks like that's been in need of repair for a long time.

At least all the bolts come out easy, they have been well lubed, no rust to speak of. LOL. :biggrin2:

wow
That is the worst that I have seen.
I just knew that you couldn't resist getting this thing torn down. Can't wait to see the finished tractor. |
I don't think that was ever run with all that grass in there, squirrels are known to eat the plastic spouts on gas cans too.

😨 Holy Mackerel !!! Never seen one such a mess. Sure hope it was not run much in that condition.

Holy smoke Sam, that's a wad of crap up in there. Glad you are on the job.:beerchug:
