Allen, glad to see you got some seat time on the 982:beerchug:
I'm pulling for you to get some snow down there before winters over.:beer2:

May not be a GT but the 2155 hauled some rocks for us today. Was real nice weather to be outside. Had to move the slate rocks bordering the front flower bed in prep for some backhoe work to rehab the front basement wall. It started as a team effort to load the cart but soon turned into a 'me load' & 'the kid drove' kind of project. Also carted the lighthouse back to the garage for some repairs too. Next up is digging out the plantings that we want to save.

Took advantage of the nice weather and started to get the 1872 ready for the spring plow days. I was going to go with the Ruegg hitch but I've got the cast rear and needed the access hole for the fill plug so I went with the xtreme since I've had good luck with them in the past. Now I've got to clean up some surface rust spots on the frame and fender pan while it's apart. I hate painting!

Spring is Coming!

With the warm weekend, most of the snow is gone up here in SW Ontario, but later this week the lake effect is supposed to kick in again and cover us. It was +10C (50F) this weekend!

Anyway, with cabin fever and pics of you guys down south and your cubs out and about, thought I would get out too.

With the snow all gone, the grass was a lot longer than I thought after the last cut of the season last year. The warm winter must of got it growing, as I don't remember it being this long! Ever.

Got the cub out in the long grass to do some mowing.

Looked pretty good, grass was pretty long. Ended up burying the tractor in a rut in the back 40!

That pretty much concluded my day out. Had to get the Tonka out for a tow.
Should have had a 982 like Allan! Never would have gotten stuck.

Looking forward to spring guys!!!

Pic reminded me of a true story. A guy came in one Saturday morning to the IH dealer dad worked for to get a belt for his Cadet. Same guy came back a couple hours later for another one. Dad asked him did he install the belt wrong and burn it up. Guy said no, he put it on right. Blamed it on the grass he was cutting, it was as high as the hood.
