You are gona love that 169 when you get it done :biggrin2.gif: |
Yesterday I slapped a two inch trailer ball on my 1811 and used it to move my new trailer. I have a 18x8 foot dual axle trailer left over from my business days but I been looking to downsize. I needed a trailer wide enough to transport my 61inch Scag Turf Tiger Zero turn, and I found a used 6.5 x 10 foot trailer in awesome shape on craigslist. I brought it home and was under the mistaken impression I was just going to wheel it into place onto my back lot by hand. Nope that sucker is heavy as heck. Thank God for the Cub. It handled the trailer like a champ. My back was hurting to much by the time I was done to put me in the mood to take pictures. Sorry guys.

Today, I pulled a tiller apart, trying to fix the main bearings. Then I put side panels on the 1650, and drove it around just to hear it run. Then I found a mud puddle. It is now very dirty. Sorry no pics, could hardly see without the lights on the tractor

Sounds like you had fun, Tyler! :beerchug:

Boy did I ever! It is so much quieter. And vibrates less beleive it or not. I got it really stuck. Sank up to the bottom of the trans and front Axel In nice sticky mud. I let the ground freeze, chipped some of it away, and drove it out. Yesterday, I hooked the plow up to my 128. I am now building a spring assist lol. The 782 is sitting inside, looking very pretty, waiting for a new pto switch. Then I have to replace the gasket between the pump and the transmission housing to stop that leak, then sell it to make some $$$. I have a nice little trailer for the 1650 now. I can haul large attachments in it or parts. Works real nice for hauling a broken tiller around!

Tyler,
I'll gladly take that 782 off your hands for a swap of that for my spring assist...lol I just noticed your line up in your signature...You have a nice selection...I have a my 1200,a JD 165 in my garage as well as a 108 and 800..Too bad the last 2 aren't mine.Don't know how things seem to keep showing up in my garage lately. My sons 2 mower decks seemed to take refuge here as well as my moms 1045...And here I thought I built my garage for my Buicks... |
Worked on the 1872
Today I put new brake pads on the 1872......and then I put the new Cat-O hitch on it. I'm really pleased with the range of the movement the lift arms have. I'm sure it will come in handy!!
