Green wood doesn't burn...let it dry out for a few months first if it is from a recently dead/fallen tree.

I'll be getting a lot of seat time this weekend. The yard is covered with leaves, especially with the rain. :biggrin2:

582 with new to me front blade

Thought I would put the blade to work on the 582. I have a problem with drainage in my back yard, red clay does not soak up water, so I got 8 tons of filler sand and started spreading it, everything was going great, until I remember why I was putting the sand there, well I buried the back tires of the 582 up to the back axles, so I walked back up the hill and got out the 1810, hook it up to the back of the 582 and out we came. Pulled it out with no problem, it was just like it was telling the 582, that I can work to. Now it is clean up time of the 582, while the 1810 just smiles.

ACecil 10-21-2011 05:09 PM

Great pics, Donny! Want me to bring my 100, and blade to help you out? :biggrin2:

Diz Jr. 10-21-2011 10:55 PM

Put a set of Destone Bar tires on the 104 (actually my wife did it and I almost fainted when she said she would do that for me). Now all I need is to put the Creeper Gear in it and its ready to do some work.

Here is this year's try at plowing with the 982. The ground was a little hard. I should likely have waited, but I needed to get it done and off the "To Do List". Did more "hilling" than plowing! Oh well, a blind man on a galloping horse will never notice the difference!

Loaded up one of my 1650's and the 104. Was gonna put the creeper in the 104 today but I want to put a new seal in the front so it dose not leak. So instead I went home and played in the dirt a little bit.

Great pictures of you and the Cubs :beerchug:

Looking good with the IH hat driving the dually.
I have been wanting to try out my sweeper but we had terrible winds here this week and it pretty much eliminated all the leaves that were down.

cub1200puller 10-23-2011 06:57 PM

I like the looks of the daully. Might have to investegat a set for the 104. It wouldnt plow like the 1650 today becaust the ground was a little bit wet. Oh well I had fun today anyway.

ACecil 10-23-2011 07:11 PM

Thanks guys! :beerchug:

Diz, you'll love the lawn sweeper, when you get to use it.

_DX3_ 10-23-2011 08:08 PM

Looking good Allen. I tried to let my nephew do some leaf duty yesterday with the smoker and sweeper, but got to noticing the left wheel on the sweeper was not turning,. It felt loose, so looks like I need to get it into the shop and figure out what is going on with it.

I spent most of today on the road and paid a visit to Chip aka Cub149 and got to go tromping thru the weeds looking at cubs today. Great guy and he has some nice cubs! The 189 project he's building is super sweet (pun intended!) I've got some pics and I've got to download off the camera still.

Posted the updates to the 1200 thread and going to post updates to the box blade thread too! So been a little busy today.:biggrin2:

ACecil 10-23-2011 10:36 PM

Thanks again, guys!
