Oh I don't know Jay. My Original sitting in the living room gives me enjoyment. If I can't use it, and the wife don't want to, and I sure as heck won't sell it, seeing it there and thinking of all the work that went into it... gives me enjoyment.:bigthink:
I know, there made to have mud on the tires, but I do enjoy going to a museum every once and awhile...:biggrin2:

Well OK Todd.... you may have a point there!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

I'd love to have one in my livingroom!:beerchug: My wife may say otherwise though!!:beerchug:

Your point is well taken though... there are many different ways to enjoy things!:biggrin2:

I have had to take chunks at a single project I have been working on while keeping the overall cost to a minimum; loaded rear wheels for the 782. The wheels were kept from the donor 782; the rims were horribly rusted and tires majorly weather cracked. Tires removed, used a grinder, yes a grinder on the rust. Had the rims sandblasted then painted them with a rattle can with Rustoleum Canvas White. Happy with them. Tires mounted, new tubes installed, and 7 1/2 gallon of RV antifreeze in each wheel. My 34 lb rear wheels turned into 98 lbs each. Once I get them mounted to the tractor, I will then add the MTD 75 lb wheel weight to each side. Don't have a set of tire chains yet but working on it.

But the real fun of the day was washing the 782 and my 1940 Minneapolis Moline ZTU then my 3 boys and the neighbor kids all came over and they took turns getting tractor rides. I am not sure who had more fun with that, them of this 40 yr old kid.

Sorry, no pics...I know I know...blasphemy.

Action shot from tonight. Living in the woods it's hard to keep up on the leaves.

Since it gets dark at 645 (545 next week with the time change) it's hard to get a lot done after work in the daylight. And living in the woods I have to do it he leafs about 2-3 times a week. Hopefully they will be done in the next few weeks.
