I'd love to have one in my livingroom!:beerchug: My wife may say otherwise though!!:beerchug: Your point is well taken though... there are many different ways to enjoy things!:biggrin2: |
I have had to take chunks at a single project I have been working on while keeping the overall cost to a minimum; loaded rear wheels for the 782. The wheels were kept from the donor 782; the rims were horribly rusted and tires majorly weather cracked. Tires removed, used a grinder, yes a grinder on the rust. Had the rims sandblasted then painted them with a rattle can with Rustoleum Canvas White. Happy with them. Tires mounted, new tubes installed, and 7 1/2 gallon of RV antifreeze in each wheel. My 34 lb rear wheels turned into 98 lbs each. Once I get them mounted to the tractor, I will then add the MTD 75 lb wheel weight to each side. Don't have a set of tire chains yet but working on it.
But the real fun of the day was washing the 782 and my 1940 Minneapolis Moline ZTU then my 3 boys and the neighbor kids all came over and they took turns getting tractor rides. I am not sure who had more fun with that, them of this 40 yr old kid. Sorry, no pics...I know I know...blasphemy. |
