Now Look What The Cub Dragged Home
I've looked for some time now and I'm grateful to have found one, a 442 tiller.

WOW! That is an awesome machine. What is the model number of your cub?! That would be a lot of fun to have a rear PTO like that. Is that also a hydraulic 3 point hitch? I am sorry I know very little about CC compared to everyone else on this forum. But I am really impressed with your tractor. The tiller is fantastic too. Lots of great attachments and implements you could put on that tractor.
WOW!! Thanks for sharing the pictures! |
Very nice
Im with Bob thats a beautiful set up!! Jason |

Great find Scott! Thanks for sharing the nice pics.

Man, that thing is massive!
|
Nice score
Have you used it yet? I have a tiller on the back of my 1250 and would
never use anything else. Forget getting tossed around by those walk behinds |

Murphycc, Very nice, I have a CC 102 w/rear pto and yours is the first I have seen that has an attachment that actualy is using it !! Nice set up! |
SBuser: That tractor is a CCC Hydrostatic Super Garden Tractor with a Cat O hydraulic lift and PTO clutch driven rear shaft drive. That first appeared on the IH made 982 (I have one with a 48" shaft driven tiller ). It is NOT the same as the gear driven rear PTO found on the early IH Cub Cadets (basically same as the Cub Tractor PTO) like your 102.

Thanks for the information. I thought I wanted a early Cub Cadet with PTO. I just assumed it was live PTO. I really have no use for PTO, but since the farm tractors had it I thought it would be neat to have it on a Cub Cadet. I am old enough to have operated tractors with the PTO gear driven off the rear end and they aren't nearly as useful as live PTO. |
Isn't it fun being pushed forward by brush hog when trying to stop using a tractor without live PTO? I'm in my mid 30's and have used a tractor like that.
I would certainly like to have a CCO with rear PTO for no other reason than it makes it look even more like a big tractor. |
Kieth I take it the PTO shaft on the brush hog didn't have a slip clutch.
That would be nasty to run. |
I have a slip clutch on the rear pto of my vac case, its the only way to go!
