sam just meet at the blacksmith that is where all the action will be. since i am the blacksmith then you and i can finally meet in person and chit chat a little in between hammer blows. i will have my 100 there also all fully restored. with all the options. I will be across the road from old mill music in the vacant parking lot with the hit miss engins. there is suppose to be alot more little tractors there this year and 55 big tractors have been signed up to be there. a big change the first year i was the only little ones there. joe allen

Joe had the Black Smith deal going, very talented guy. Nice to see people can make stuff like he can. It's a skill that is rapidly going away in this throw it away and buy a new one country.

thanks for all the nice compliments .it just kinda came natural to me . i have always been handy with my hands or crafty what ever it is called. but i have learned if you set your mind to do somthing then you can do it. i realy like what i do and that also helps out. Sam you were right i won best of show in the lawn and garden class and also got a trophy for blacksmithing so all in all it was a good time. nice meeting sam cadplan and ajcombs today. and thanks againfor all the nice compliments from all.

Congrats on the first place Joe. Better watch out next year, I think Dierik is going to make a run at it. You guys have some sharp looking Cubs.

Tired!
I had a great time at the Farm Fest today. Spent most of my time running my jaw rather that taking pic's. It was nice meeting you Sam, send me your address so I can come see you. And nice pic's BTW. Keep thinking about that 4 cyl Super Diesel build for me.... I need to do something with that engine. Shhh.... Did I let the cat out of the bag? Still running my jaw!!!!
I met the man that put my 2072 together from the local dealer back in 1989 today. He was telling me how he took it out of the crate and assembled it, serviced it and first cranked it up and put it through it's paces. He was also the only guy that did the service work on it for the original owner untill I aquired it. Even when the tractor went out of warranty the original owner took it to his shop at his home for service. It was just very cool to hear that information and to know that about the tractor. Having a local Super and knowing about it's history just makes it that much more Super. |
JALLEN, heree are some of the pics I got!!
