Mowing Pics

Anyone got any pics of their IH Cub Cadet mowing or pics of the yard after mowing they could post?

I see a goodly amount of pics/threads showing/talking about these Cub Cadets pulling a moldboard plows, tillers, front blades, snow throwers, etc., but not much in the way of just mowing the grass.

Thanks!
Bill

No actual action shots of the cub in action but here's the end result of my 125 using a 42" deck with cast iron ends.

Diz,
Good mowing pictures.
Allen,
How long is it going to take to cut your grass with the super and the 60" deck?
Some people would like more grass to cut, some would not.I wish I had 2 acres. Here I am on the 71 today.45 year old deck does a great job.

Im like you I love to cut grass, I have about 1.5 acres of "yard grass" and sometimes that ain't enough to keep me happy.:beerchug:

ACecil 05-26-2012 12:02 AM

Great pics, Lew! With our small yard it would be under an hour. :biggrin2:

red56turbo 05-26-2012 12:21 PM

Hey all,
Great pics!!

Lew,
If you're really bored, you can come mow my 3.5 acres with your cub. I used to mow it with my 149 or 129. They did a great job, but it took roughly 3 hours. I also have a ton of trees to mow around. Now I hop on the CC (MTD) zeroturn and knock it off in half the time. I do love the seat time, but with kids, work, etc. time is a premium. Especially when it's 90* and humid. :biggrin2:

Don't currently have any mowing pics loaded. Keep 'em coming guys!

782 mowing part of my lawn. This was after being without a mower for a little while, so the grass was pretty high. Not a problem for this tractor though :D

This is a pic of my backyard after cutting it last week.

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...i/104_2378.jpg

This is what I used.

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...i/104_2377.jpg

I don't like to be in shots, plus when I mow I'm typically the only one home, so no real action shots. It cuts great.

I agree about pics of CCs for plowing, etc. When I was growing up all we used the 125 (and 782) for was mowing, with an occasional roto till of the garden. Never for anything else. For years we've called them "the lawn mower" because that's what we had and used. I still find it amusing when someone refers to a CC as a tractor, even though that's what it technically is.

ACecil 05-31-2012 04:45 PM

Good looking cub and yard!

Can't get any one to take a picture of me mowing but you really did not want to see me anyway:) The 127 and tag mowers make short work of the 3+ acres once a week.
If I got real ambitious I would paint the read tag mowers Cub yellow. Maybe this weekend project:)
Mowing about 80 inches in one pass. Reduced weed whacking around trees, and mows the ditch with ease too.
The tag mowers were rescued from the junk and low cost yard sale mowers. These two are a good matched pair and I can almost complete the entire yard on one gas up.
Not a system for kids to run!
Does a very nice job following the contours of our undulating yard. (read that rough and bumpy)
Notice I moved the deck wheels out 2 inches on the 127 deck to get away from the tires.
Regards,
Chris

Finally got my wonderful wife to get some pics of the Big Hammers (Supers) mowing today, I will say one thing, when you get two 54 inch decks running together we can knock down some serious grass in no time at all.

Now I know what the discussion on the porch was all about. Note: Happiness is when the cyclops is back in working order from everything I went through for the past month or so.
