Here is a pic of my "mistress" as my wife likes to call her, she says instead of lipstick being a tell tell sign its read clay. My neighbor tilled it with his Kubota, then I disc'd it with the cub and cut the rows with my bedder attached to the cub and husky..

I would expand mine but I am out of room, I am afraid that I won't even have one when I get home. The wife texted me this morning and said the storm they had last night beat it up pretty good. I'll know when I get home this evening if I have to scrap the taters and corn...

Sorry to hear about that, we had 1/2" hail 2 weeks ago, it only hurt some of the cherrys'.

Pic of the tree before the cherrys' filled out.

Thanks guys, the hail blew holes in the corn stalks, wind blew the peanuts and potatoes all over kindome come literally pulling some of them out of the ground. The south end of the garden got it worse primarily because thats all stuff thats not caged or trellised. The bush beans between the tomatos and pole beans are flattened, I really thought those would have been protected. I am glad though that I built all the cages, my neighbor uses a trellis system for tomatos similar to some on here nad all his plants were on the ground. The twine holding them actually cut through his stalks. My ol girl is tough this is the 4th one this year that has been hard and she keeps coming back..guess I've done a good job raising the kids...lol
