Footrest Pad Question
I need the footrest pads for my 1872. Will the metal ones from earlier Cub Cadets such as the 1X9 and QL's fit? Just want to know, before I buy a set. I'd much rather have the metal ones. :beerchug:

yes they will bolt right on.

They will bolt on if you drill one additional hole.

Thanks guys!

Or just use the three bolt holes that line up. :beerchug:

All of my x82 tractors have metal pads. On the manual lift ones you have to grind a little off for the lift handle. I really like them over the vinyl. I keep several sets around just for that.

Allen Im glad you asked this question. I need to do the same thing on the 2072. I was wondering about having mine Line-X'ed. Nice black color and permanent non skid.

Pretty sure I used 5/16 X 1" on my pads with ny-lock nuts and some never seize. |
Thanks Sam!
