We have 5 furry Family members in our household, 2 -doggies & 3 indoor kitties.
In our 41 years of marriage (may I add heavenly bliss:biggrin2:) we have always had furry creatures as Family members. We now have 2 doggies & both are rescued/abused/ neglected/ unwanted- pets. The MOST rewarding dogs we ever had. Long stories about both of them, I dont think I have the ambition this morning to explain. :bigthink:

Our Giant (stunted because of neglect) Schnauzer -SHARKA-the day we got her at #35lbs, & 11 months old, she should have been 65/70 lbs.

Then we adopted a Austrailian 'Blue Healer' Cattle Dog-Bentley-, another pathetic abuse case from Southern Michigan, now turns out that this creature is the SMARTEST dog we EVER had. This dog looks at me & knows what i'm thinking, Bentley has no limits, will work (play) till he drops.

Now these 2 have never ever had any sign of aggresion toward each other, even with food, they are the best of bud's.

My wife bought six chicks around Easter this year. They started out cute. Now they are laying eggs.

My son was at college and decided to get a dog.We thought it was a great idea at the time.He has since moved to a different apartment and they do not allow dogs.So we became her new family.

She is 3/4 lab and 1/4 pit bull,her tail was docked and was rescued from a dog fighting breeder in Philadelphia PA

She is 3 years old and weighs 85 lbs

This is Leaka, our Husky. Named her Leaka beacuse when she was a puppy she would get excited and leak.:biggrin2:

On monday, Mochi our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog turns 8 years old. We got him at 5 months old and 55 lbs.

Here's a couple pics of the tribe. The old girl in the last pic is no longer with us. She suffered a stroke a couple weeks ago and we had to put her down.

Here's my baby girl. And patch the best danged mouse catcher there is baby's is the pitbull. Patch is the jack russell/ rat terrier mix

This is ''Maple" she came with the name from a home that could no longer keep her.We were told she is a white German Shepard but who knows?A little nutty but very lovable and has really come around in the last year.

Here's our 3 cats. The black cat is Stinky, because everytime you pick her up she farts. It's like a defense mechanism. The grey and white cat is Mittens. And the black and white cat is called Littles. Stinky and Mittey we got from a shelter. We were told they are sisters. Littles was a stray we picked up as we were biking by a farm. She was maybe 8 weeks old. She's now the biggest of the 3 and she dominates the other 2 cats. She's really smart and she talks to us.:beerchug:

cubcrazy, thats one pretty dog you got. When we were lookin for one of them, I found one litter, 4 Hrs away and $500 bucks.

Heres betty the border collie we found for $50 bucks from the amish. she turned out to be a good family dog

This is my best buddy Marlie a 4 year old german shepherd we have had her since she was 6 weeks old and has been the best dog. We also have a cat Mazie she is the sweetest cat but does not like squirrels. I think I interrupted lunch time she does not look happy. :biggrin2:

I didn't have to travel far though. A guy we knows raises them and he is only about a 15 minute drive.
Nice looking Border Collie also. We looked at them too and decided on the Collie. Well, the wife decided on the collie! lol

You can enjoy them more if one didn't have to search & make it a stickey?:bigthink:

Does bubba talk? Remember this is a family oriented site. I'm saying that because of the 4 birds that I personally know of, all pick up cuss words.

My buddy has a green headed amazon parrot? I think that's the correct description? But it's hilarious what that bird comes up with.

Ok, here are the girls; All indoor cats, declawed, & neutered.
Abbey, a Russian Blue, also lnown as Miss Piggy, We CAN NEVER EVER leave any food out any where. She grabs it & takes it up into our bed room. They have a hut type thing & she stores it in there. Most of the time she doesn't eat it but........ just grabs it & stores it.

Then our Annie a Oriental Shorthair, sorta distances her self from me, but not the wife, now unless I shake a bag of kitty treats.

Then here is our beloved Vegas, she thinks shes a dog, comes when ever called, follows us around all day long, when we go to bed she must be petted for at least 5min.. If not she paws at your face to get it & a constant purr machine. My favorite, I cant go any where with out her being there. We shower, she watch's, I shave she's there, most LOVABLE cat we ever had.

Here's my little pup Leon. He is a french bulldog we got on July (Friday) the 13th! :bigeyes: He's been great thus far, aside from all the teething..
