Road Trip
 

A friend of mine called me tonight. He has a friend that his Pop passed a year ago and his Mom just got put in a home. His friend told him his Dad has a ton of Cub IH stuff, tractors, implements, attachments, and NOS IH parts . My friend is going to look them over for me tomorrow and send me pics of the lot. The guy told my friend to bring a BIG trailer, as he wants it all gone, and cleaned up so they can list the house for sale.

Maybe there is a set of 0 fenders in the lot :bigthink:

The bad part is, that this place is down South. So I'm looking at a 7hr drive with my 30' trailer.

My wife is going to kill me. :bash2:

I do know its all or none. .
he has a scrap bin coming in a week or so. and my friend said its all junk to him. So he will not part it out. he wants it all gone.
I guess there is maybe 10 cubs. dont know how many plows, blades, tillers, decks and engines . a true cub junkie...
Im just hoping its not a bunch of rust in a pile.

I might (might) be taking my Semi and landoll trailer with a forklift. if it works out and there is alot.

just talked to my friend on the phone. there is quite a few lawn mowers. not cubs. show you how much this guy knows. but any way there are 3 cubs. bought new buy this guys dad.
a 102 , 127 and a 149 my friend told me they look like there only a few years old. he said the 149 looks like the guy just picked it up from the dealer last year.

the 127 and 149 are locked up in a side out building. he could only see them from the window. the guy didnt have a key for that building.
but my freind got the 102 for me. it has wheel weights, rear lift. 2 plowes ,1 disc, dirt snow blade, snow thrower and mow deck.

he's going back to get the other 2 cubs for me.
I have only a pic of the 102 I'll get posted in a bit.

I cant wait to see the other two.

the guy had a small engine fix it shop so all the nos stuff was a little bit of this and that. a lot of mtd / B&S stuff. but im not there to see it all and my friend doesnt know what hes looking at. the guy said another fix-it shop was going to buy it all. so I pasted on the parts , cause im not there.

so I got all 3 cubs and all the attachments. all the rest is going scrap(mid 90s to now mtd stuff)

Doug at least you have a good idea of what's there now!

yes my car trailer and a empity bed will get it all back to Ohio

Oh yea a 102. I am a bit partial to them My son and I have two of them and they are real workhorses. Glad you saved those machines.

That 102 is in nice shape.

That is a very well equipped 102. I'd love to be all over that assist, but it doesn't make sense to take it out of the machine.
