I have been wanting this kind of set up for awhile.
Went out and bought one and extended it some and tried it out today!
Worked great! Will definitely save my back!!:beerchug:

Methos 02-16-2013 07:31 PM

That's nice!

When did you get a floor in that garage? Last time I was there you had cubs as flooring.:biggrin2:

Cubcrazy 02-16-2013 07:47 PM

Thanks Duke!
Well, I had to unfortunately move a few outside today to make room for it.

zippy1 02-16-2013 07:54 PM

Looks like that will be a big back saver Mike:beerchug:
That'll make it a breeze changing oil and general maintenance:beer2:

darkminion_17 02-16-2013 07:56 PM

Looks like u used an old door to extend it?
Not sure if you worked on em '
I thought you just collected them, then stored em ' like chipmunks store their nuts.:biggrin2:
Is it attached to the floor?
nice find though.

You crack me up Lew!!
As many as I got Lew seems like that is all I do is work on them!:beerchug:
No, I didn't attach it to the floor. This way I can slide it around if I want to. I still need to add a little ramp to the one side.
Thanks Lew!

darkminion_17 02-16-2013 08:08 PM

That is a clean floor.
It would be good to keep it from getting too top heavy and tip over.
Just my real 2¢…

I just swept it before I took the pic Lew!:biggrin2:
Yeah, I was concerned about that but I did alot of experimenting today with it and it seems pretty secure. To try to keep it balanced I added the same length to both ends. Seems to be working well.

cubcadet 02-16-2013 08:42 PM

Here is the link to the C-List add and the info from the company that makes them.
http://www.advancelifts.com/sitefile...t/at-1024.html

http://reading.craigslist.org/mad/3550395316.html

These came out of the Harley factory in York PA and the data tag on them says 2000 lb not the 1000lb in the info. I'll post some pics after I unload it.

I didn't have time to check the rotating table out. I bet I only spent 15 mins. They had it ready to load for me. Then it was head south to meet Leadslingingdaddy to pick up some parts I bought from him.

Leadslingingdaddy 02-21-2013 07:21 AM

Nice meeting you Sam

Thats what we call a meet greet and beat it out of there!!!

Hopefully we can get together this summer and have a fine Cigar and do some shooting...

Let me know what you are going to do about a ramp.
I have some ideas with mine but curious what you got in mind.

Got the table setup, this is one of those I should have done this years ago things. I will need to extend the length of the deck for the Supers but the 71 fits just fine. Had to cut the brackets off the deck, no big deal. As far as ramps I just used my loading ramps for now but may make something like the motorcycle lifts use. Depends on how ambitious I get. :beerchug:

Cubcrazy 02-21-2013 05:34 PM

Looks good Sam!
yeah, that is why I extended mine so I get the supers up on it!:beerchug:

4SPEED 02-21-2013 07:28 PM
