I just purchased a 1978 1200. Does anyone know if I can put a tiller on this model?

Yes but you need a creeper

It does not have creeper gear. Can it be added and what should I expect to pay?

Congrats on your 1200!

The IH built tillers come with their own hitch system.

But you'll need the rear lift and spring assist. Those tillers are heavy but work great!

So basically

Creeper
Rear gear box
Tiller

Ok so I bought this thing for $250 basically sight unseen. Had no idea what to expect it. It had a frozen piston frozen starter two mice zero oil and the carb was hangin off her. Some PB Blaster some love and she runs like a sewing machine! Best part is she looks amazing. :BangPC:

I am looking for a front grill screen. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 1200 and the 1250 screen?

My 1200 is unreal. Just cut my 1.5 acres first time. It cuts better than my 2007 Husky! Who needs a husky!!

I know what you mean. My German Shepherds are worthless when it comes to keeping the grass under control. But they are nice to have around, if only for guard duty.
