I'm no Ford hater either, I currently own 2 and I'd take the Pepsi challenge in the donut contest against a 6.4L Powerstroke any day of the week in my 'Stang.

The new, Ford designed, Powerstroke is an interesting motor. It's too early to tell about durability, but they are sure impressive on paper. If I had the cash, a 24v Cummins ISB would by my choice!

As long as you kept it under 2700 rpm, an ISB would do that all day long and ask for nothing more than new tires and more fuel!

6.0L/6.4L Navistar "Powerstroke" = TOTAL JUNK!

Not much in the brains department, obviously. From a 1995 7.3L "real" Powerstroke owner, I can't imagine trashing an engine like that.
