Things are getting exciting...
Stuff for the 128 project are starting to roll in. I got the clutch parts in and the clutch reassembled. I ordered a wiring harness from MLamar today. He supplies a very high quality product for a heck of a price including battery cables.
Also my decals from Maple Hunter just came in the mail today. I have an order from Chris Westfall to pay for and that will just about complete everything I need except for two new front tri rib tires and I'll get those next month. Looking forward to getting this 2 year project finished up. This is what it looked like when I had to stop working on it for a year or so. I now have the rear fender pan installed and the engine is temporarily setting in the engine bay. Will get the clutch connected to the tranny and hanging ready to connect to the engine when I get some small items on it finished up. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...d/DSC02204.jpg Here are the decals that just came in: http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps668bd2cb.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps442825a3.jpg I'll get some pics of the wiring harness when I get it in later this week. |

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I'll hold off on the lightning bolts paint job for awhile.. :biggrin2: Yes, I had some custom made dealer decals made up a couple of years ago. I just got done putting the tunnel cover decal and headlight panel decal on. Letting them set up over night. Will try to get a couple of pictures of them tomorrow if I can. |
That is a very nice looking tractor. Where did you get that dealer decal? I have been looking for a source for them.

A couple of quick pics this morning.
Only thing about the maple hunter decals I am dissapointed with, is they don't supply the air cleaner decal. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...psb4547020.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps5f8f7d1d.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps96321736.jpg |

Got home a couple of hours ago and did a little bit more work this afternoon.
I had been able to save the original dash pan and was able to paint it and clean up the aluminum trim. I took the large pan decal and simply cut out the text that I needed and placed them on my original. I don't like putting those decals on the pans because of the rough texture, it just never seems to look right. The decals stand out in the pics being a bit off, but in person you cannot hardly tell it. Was hard to get them lined up with that lousy cover paper on them. Decals installed http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...psc709c9b0.jpg Rear IH decal http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps6715f330.jpg shot of tunnel cover and dash pan http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...psab6e42d5.jpg Headlights and grille installed http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps099ff607.jpg Will probably work on the hood decals tomorrow http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...psf35af12b.jpg |

Did a little bit more decal work this morning. I did figure out unfortunately that I have lost the metal decal for the steering wheel and am having no luck finding the steering wheel nut. The hazards of long term projects. :bash2:
Got the hood decals on and the OPEI decal. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps8f2fa627.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps7b0c64fd.jpg |
That thing didn't look that good 40 years ago when it was new.
Very nice. |
You 128 is looking great, DWyane!
