Breakfast time again!

We are planning another breakfast this Sat. at the West Middlesex Diner at 8:00 a.m. for anyone interested. Would love to see some new faces! Anyone need directions PM me.

OldAndInTheWay 11-18-2013 07:16 PM

4 1/2 hour drive for me. :crap:

Cubcrazy 11-18-2013 07:18 PM

Not to bad of a drive John! Bring a trailer and you can take some cubs back to Virginia!:biggrin2:

OldAndInTheWay 11-18-2013 07:43 PM

Seems to be enough here. People are giving them to me... :biggrin2:

cubcadet 11-18-2013 07:44 PM

Wish I could go

Mike

Anytime you or for that matter any of the OCC members are in the area the offer stands. Maybe we need to do an OCC SWVA plow day, pool, cook out thing, could be fun. :bigthink:

J-Mech 11-18-2013 08:38 PM

Hey Sam, maybe we could plow that patch you have that you say won't grow grass! If we could just get John down there with a load of his compost, we'd have you new patch for your new 1782 to mow!! :biggrin2::biggrin2:

ACecil 11-18-2013 10:22 PM

Mike, I'll come up and bring a smoker home. Whatcha think? :biggrin2:

zippy1 11-19-2013 12:54 AM

11 1/2 hours for me. I'll see what's going on. Heck, can't make it, opening of gun season.
Now if you all want to come up this way, all the wild game you can eat, and if we run out, we'll get more:bigthink:
Sounds like a good time, have fun.

Where are your priorities Sam! Good food and cub talk versus work!:biggrin2:
Hope you can make it!

Here's a suggestion...Why not just set up an agreed upon time to openly chat on the "Only Cub Cadets Chat!" in the forum? It's not a face to face meeting, but perhaps more realistic for people who are spread out geographically.

Perhaps once a month, or whatever works, there could be an agreed upon time that members could free chat.

Oh, well, just a thought...

 in the morning.

Cubcrazy 11-22-2013 09:47 PM

You and Paul have a safe trip Eric! C-ya in the morning!

Sugarmaker 11-23-2013 01:11 PM

Folks,
I made the journey at day break and had a good breakfast with a great bunch of Cub guys. EricR, Paul, Eric and Mike
Saw a Woods brand, front mower deck, for a Cub, loaded from one truck to another.
Then had the opportunity to visit Cub Crazy's place on the way home. If there is a cub heaven this might be it! From old ones to newer ones, from little cubs to big ones, I think they are all there! Wow was the word of the day. Thanks again to Mike for setting this up and it was well worth the trip. Only problem is that now I know where there are a bunch of Cub items and I may be bugging him more.
Regards,
Chris

I agree with Todd!

Sugarmaker 11-23-2013 06:46 PM

I did not see a camera anywhere. Some of this was top secret and we had to take a oath. Really, we were yacking way to much to think about pictures! Sorry:(
As for Mike's place you really have to see it to believe it. Pictures just would not do it justice! Its more like a shrine or Cub holy ground:) Not even sure you're allowed to take pictures there? I felt like a kid in a candy store:)
Regards,
Chris

cubcadet 11-23-2013 07:07 PM

Sounds like a great time was had by all who got a woods deck:bigthink::beerchug:

Very good breakfast with that homemade syrup!!! Thanks again Chris! Wish I could have seen the look on your face at Mikes! Hope you put your hand under your jaw like I said! The deck is still in the bed of the truck, thanks for bringing it over Mike and storing it for the fall!!! I'll get some pictures tomorrow. Hope Eric and Paul made it home safe in the snow!

PaulS 11-23-2013 11:34 PM

We also had a great time with you all again. For those of you who thought about making the trip you lost out on a great day. So much at Cubcrazy's place is cub cadet the there was even yellow snow in a few spots. Yes we did make it home but a bit of the trip was really treacherous. At one spot there was a semi jackknifed and covering the inside (left lane) and guess what lane we were in at the time. We kept passing through snow squalls and there was a constant reminder I need new windshield wipers. At times we were only going 15 - 20 MPH. The trip took over an hour longer than usual and definately had a few pucker factor moments.
