126 snow action
I know how everyone likes pictures so here are some pix and videos of the 126 doing snow removal. Please excuse the camera man as she is still new at it lol. Also don't mind the clutching in the one video - still trying to find the right gear to use for blowing with creeper

Great videos. I sure do wish we got more snow in the south. That is the first time I have seen a snow blower in action. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, talk about traction. My cubs would have slid right down that vertical driveway......lol. Good stuff, first time I've seen a cub blowing snow. Makes me want to hook up my blower.:beerchug:

Great action shots!! Thanks for posting the vids and pics. I stumbled across a video titled, Jen Cub and it looks like she's enjoying running that snow thrower, too. I bet the neighbors envy you-especially if you bury their car in snow!:biggrin2:

Looks great! Finally a gear drive/blower video.

Awesome! I've been using cubs since I was 10, but this was my first year using a blower, and I have to say that the blower really illustrates just how powerful those old kohlers really are!
:Kohler1: |
Start cleaning the first 10' in front your garage door so you just back up in your trace and got enough space to move around and get set for the next pass. I remove 3600 sq feet of snow at every storm since 1996, using a walk behind 2 phases snow blower, I learn a few tricks...LMAO
I wish my QL 1650 throw snow like your 126! The thrower broke again (For the fourth time), the new belt just snap in half this time. I almost give up but your video just give me the push I need to try again. Thank you:) |

OldSkull- glad I could provide you with the inspiration! Plowing is nice but I think blowing snow is more fun. When the snow is really deep and gives the cub some work to make that motor really start talking there are few better sounds! |
And to go one better, a 18 hp double breasted kohler barking with the Gov.full open strainning the belt with the snow chocking it's throat, but not missing a lick, now THAT is music!

I'm sure it would work great under the correct circumstances. I feel I could have used it in the light fluffy snow but I had heavy wet packed down snow and took a little more effort to move. Prior to creeper I always used first gear which to me is the equivalent to 3rd creeper.:beerchug:
|
You are right 3rd gear low is just a tad slower than 1st gear high.
