How much will the NOS 169 muffler go off for on eBay ?
What do you guys think that Nos 16 muffler go off for:bigthink:
Of course it is only speculation, depending on who is watching, how bad they want it and how much $$ they have to float that way. My best guess would be between $65-$100. If you have one, you can just put a reserve on it. Why do you have one for sale?

I just took a peek and it is $217.50 already!
It's amazing what those sell for!

its up to 280
Wow, but it didnt exceed the cost of the 800 muffler yet.:biggrin2:
Not like it's a big deal, just go buy a Nelson muffler, cut the mount off your old one, weld in on the new one and be Happy Happy Happy. If any of you guys need a copy of the Nelson catalog shoot me a PM, I have a PDF of it.

The last 800 muffler went for over $350. Needless to say I'm modifying a different IH muffler to work until I find the needle in said haystack.
Currently at $310 and reserve isn't met!

Take a couple minutes and look around this site http://www.nelsonglobalproducts.com/product_set/ |
Hmmm! I wonder if I'll have better luck on the muffler pool instead of the Superbowl pool if there's one?
Here we go again! So this one says Nelson on it so I assume that's the same place Sam just now they are NLA?

Kinda funny, but over the past 4-5 years, I've seen no fewer than 10+ 800 mufflers sell on epay. Guess I should have parted the 800 I used to have with a creeper and rear pto. Could've doubled my money than the price I sold it for as a whole tractor................ |
WOW!!....330 bucks for a muffler....my exhaust on my dodge didnt cost that...nor my k5 blazer...i only have 200 in each truck....greedy...karma does come around
Yeah by the time you get the specific muffler box piece and the muffler itself its almost 7 bills. It bums me out that mine had none of the 800 specific stuff but its also basic supply vs demand so I can kinda see it but I don't have to agree with it either. I would pay a few hundred for both exhaust pieces but I'm going to try to make mine first, we shall see

I think it's more stupid than greed bigb87, those 19 bidders got it up that much...

I wouldn't call the seller greedy. I'd call him smart. He could have put a "Buy It Now" price on it but instead he let the market dictate the price.
Sooo, whatcha you guys watching this Sunday? The game or the muffler? :beerchug:
the muffler not a big fan of foot ball if it don't have engine is not a sport Lol :biggrin2:
I know the seller. Pretty good guy. I've bought parts from him before and have met him personally quite a few times. Good guy to deal with. Probably savvy businessman. I'm not in the market for a 169 muffler. Thank God!!!!
My take on it is more power to the guy. If someone needs a correct muffler for their restoration how many times do you see a NOS one come up. Good luck finding another one!:biggrin2:
