Only a 30 minute drive each way in the Cavalier! I think they were red originally! If they were my CCC will look a little IH!!!

You beat me to them!!!!:angry::angry::angry:

Congrats! I didn't check CL for a couple of days. Saw them listed yesterday..
Was posted three days earlier. Now I know why the seller hasn't responded.

Oh well. I do have a pair so not so bad.

Again, congrats.

John

Where are you located? I am a little south of Winchester.

Sorry, John! I am in Nokesville but really closer to Gainesville.

My CL routine finally paid off:biggrin2: Most days it feels like I am wasting my time:BangPC:

Congrats Travis! Can't wait to see them on your cub!

jimbob200521 02-07-2014 02:27 PM

Nice find, they sure to spruce up a Cub to see a set on them :beerchug:

Nice pair Travis!:biggrin2: You must have really got lucky to find 2 sets at the same location. Great things are worth "weighting" for! I bought a cub about 3 wks ago and still haven't had good enough weather or time to go get it, so I know what you mean by saying, "Finally...". So, one set red and the other set will be painted yellow?

I haven't thought about that yet :bigthink: I was going to go with whatever color was underneath everything, to keep them original, but I may mix it up a little :biggrin2: Then the question is which color goes on the outside or 1 color on the right and the other on the left?

Well I picked up the weights after work and escaped Fairfax with all 4 fenders intact!! :beerchug:

They are yellow under red under black. Yellow it is!

What should I use for hardware? Stainless carriage bolts or just galvanized? Oh and what diameter?

Galvanized will be fine and I use 1/2-13NC carriage bolts.

You're welcome :beerchug:

I purposely did not put down a length since it depends on which rims you're using.

And how many I'm stacking together!:BlahBlah:

That's why I didn't ask for a length either. :beerchug::buttrock:

ACecil 02-08-2014 08:20 PM

Glad you got them home, Travis!

Cubcrazy 02-08-2014 08:27 PM

Cool deal! Looking forward to you getting them mounted up!:beer2:

Could put one pair on the inside and one on the outside with all thread rods connecting them. That 's what I like about the IH wheel weights is that they can mount on the inside or outside of the rims.
